Josh Emmett | TALE OF THE TAPE | Ilia Topuria |

Number-five-ranked featherweight Josh Emmett takes on undefeated rising star and number-nine-ranked featherweight Ilia Topuria. To learn more about weight classes, read our guide to women's & men's UFC weight classes.
After racking up five wins in a row, Josh Emmett faced off against Yair Rodriguez at UFC 284 in February for the interim featherweight title. However, Emmett succumbed to a second-round triangle choke as Rodriguez claimed interim gold.
Ilia Topuria has remained undefeated since joining the UFC - having won all five of his fights with the promotion.
His most recent (and most impressive win) came over Bryce Mitchell - a fighter who was also undefeated at the time the two met. Topuria won the fight via second-round submission at UFC 282 last December, earning a performance bonus.
Topuria is the taller and younger fighter and, despite his one-inch disadvantage in the reach department, is listed as a whopping -345 favorite to win; the biggest betting favorite on the main card.

Amanda Ribas | TALE OF THE TAPE | Maycee Barber |
29 | Age | 25 |
5 ft 4 in | Height | 5 ft 5 in |
66 in | Reach | 65 in |
12-3 | Record | 12-2 |
Amanda Ribas, ranked at number-11 in the women’s strawweight division, will once again step into the octagon at a higher weight to take on the number-11 ranked flyweight Maycee Barber. Check out current UFC Rankings for weight classes and pound-for-pound greatest fighter!
Ribas returned to flyweight in 2022 and lost against Katlyn Chookagian. She remained at flyweight for her most recent bout which was a unanimous decision win over Viviane Araujo at UFC 285 this past March.
After suffering back-to-back losses (the only two of her career), Maycee Barber has now won her last four fights in a row.
Her most recent win came against Andrea Lee in the form of a split decision this past March.
Barber will stand one-inch taller but Ribas will be one-inch longer. And, despite her winning streak, Barber is listed as a +165 underdog against Ribas in this Saturday’s co-main event.
Cody Brundage | TALE OF THE TAPE | Sedriques Dumas |
29 | Age | 27 |
6 ft | Height | 6 ft 2 |
72 in | Reach | 79 in |
8-4 | Record | 7-1 |
Stepping in on just shy of ten days notice as a replacement for Punahele Soriano, Cody Brundage is looking to bounce back quickly following his April submission loss to Rodolfo Vieira - his second loss in a row.
Brundage takes on newcomer Sedriques Dumas - a fighter who was undefeated prior to signing with the UFC and who holds a first-minute submission win on the Contender Series.
Dumas debuted for the UFC this past March but was defeated via second-round submission at the hands of Josh Fremd.
Dumas will stand two-inches taller than Brundage and have a seven-inch reach advantage. But despite his short turnaround, it is the more experienced Brundage who is listed as the favorite at -165.
David Onama | TALE OF THE TAPE | Gabriel Santos |
29 | Age | 26 |
5 ft 11 in | Height | 5 ft 9 in |
74 in | Reach | 71.5 in |
10-2 | Record | 10-1 |
Undefeated as a professional before stepping into the UFC octagon, Gabriel Santos suffered the first loss of his career in his promotional debut at the hands of Lerone Murphy this past March.
He takes on David Onama, another fighter who lost his UFC debut. Obama rebounded from that loss, winning his next two in a row, but lost his most recent bout via majority decision to Nate Landwehr last August.
This will be the first fight of 2023 for Onama, who will stand two inches taller and have a 2.5-inch reach advantage.
However, the highly touted prospect Gabriel Santos has the oddsmakers’ ears as they list him as a significant -230 favorite over his opponent.
Brendan Allen | TALE OF THE TAPE | Bruno Silva |
27 | Age | 33 |
6 ft 2 in | Height | 6 ft |
75 in | Reach | 74 in |
21-5 | Record | 23-8 |
Brendan Allen, a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, is hunting his fifth win in a row this Saturday. He kicks off the main card against fellow BJJ black belt Bruno Silva.
Allen has won three of his last four via submission, most recently tapping out Andre Muniz with a rear-naked choke in the third round of their main event bout this past February. The win earned him his third performance bonus in a row.
Bruno Silva recently snapped a two-fight skid with his first-round TKO win over Brad Tavares this past April. He, too, won a performance bonus in his most recent appearance.
Despite his black belt, Silva has never won a fight by submission but has lost six. Brendan Allen, the -195 favorite, has won 12 of his professional fights by submission and will also stand two inches taller and have a one-inch reach advantage.
