Cory Sandhagen vs Song Yadong – Bantamweight Division

Cory Sandhagen TALE OF THE TAPE Song Yadong
30 Age 24
5 ft. 11 in. Height 5 ft. 8 in.
70 in. Reach 67 in.
14-4 Record 19-6-1, 1 no-contest

Hoping to snap a two-fight losing skid, number-four bantamweight Cory Sandhagen takes on number-ten ranked Song Yadong in the main event of UFC Fight Night.

Song Yadong has won three straight – most recently defeating former title challenger Marlon Moraes via first-round knockout this past March. His performance was worthy of a post-fight bonus.

In what was deemed Fight of the Night, Sandhagen most recently dropped a unanimous decision to Petr Yan. The bout was contested for the interim UFC bantamweight title. Prior to that loss, Sandhagen had dropped a very close split-decision to the returning T.J. Dillashaw.

Sandhagen, a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, will stand three inches taller than his opponent and will enjoy a three-inch reach advantage.

He is listed as a -215 favorite over Song Yadong despite his recent losses.

Chidi Njokuani vs Gregory Rodrigues – Middleweight Division

Chidi Njokuani TALE OF THE TAPE Gregory Rodrigues
33 Age 30
6 ft. 3 in. Height 6 ft. 3 in.
80 in. Reach 75 in.
22-7, 1 no-contest Record 12-4

Chidi Njokuani has been one to watch since signing with the UFC. He competed on the Contender Series in 2021, earning a third-round KO over Mario Sousa.

He has since fought twice under the promotion’s banner, and has back–to-back first-round KO wins over Marc-Andre Barriault and, most recently, Dusko Todorovic.

Gregory Rodrigues is currently 3-1 in the UFC and is coming off a first-round KO of his own over Julian Marquez that took place this past June.

Of eight combined UFC fights, these two men already have four post-fight bonuses.

Despite these men standing at equal height, Njokuani will have a significant five-inch reach advantage.

Andre Fili vs Bill Algeo – Featherweight Division

Andre Fili TALE OF THE TAPE Bill Algeo
32 Age 33
5 ft. 11 in. Height 6 ft.
74 in. Reach 73 in.
21-9, 1 no-contest Record 16-6

Having won back-to-back fights over Joanderson Brito and Herbert Burns, Bill Algeo now looks to extend his winning streak to three with a win over Andre Fili.

Fili has had a rough go as of late, going 1-2 with one no-contest over his last four fights. He most recently suffered a first-round TKO loss at the hands of Joanderson Brito this past April.

Algeo will stand one-inch taller but Fili will have a one-inch reach advantage.

Tanner Boser vs Rodrigo Nascimento – Heavyweight Division

Tanner Boser TALE OF THE TAPE Rodrigo Nascimento
31 Age 29
6 ft. 2 in. Height 6 ft. 3 in.
75.5 in. Reach 80 in.
20-8-1 Record 8-1, 1 no-contest

Holding a black belt in karate and a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Tanner Boser recently snapped a two-fight losing skid with his second-round knockout of former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Ovince St. Preux.

He faces Rodrigo Nascimento, who entered the UFC as an undefeated 7-0. However, after winning his first fight for the promotion, he has gone on to lose to Chris Daukaus via first-round KO and, most recently, had a TKO win overturned to a no-contest.

Nascimento will be the taller man and will also have a 4.5-inch reach advantage over Boser. Despite this, it is Boser who is listed at -210.
