Day two of the 2026 World Cup features two intriguing matches, with the prop markets offering several attractive bets. Two of the tournament’s co-hosts, Canada and the USA, get their campaigns under way today, and we have selected four FIFA World Cup props that offer excellent value for sports bettors.
A prop bet is a wager on a specific in-game event, rather than one that predicts the final score. We have picked out our favorite World Cup player props and team selections ahead of the matches in Toronto and Inglewood.

Even with longshot Canada odds to win World Cup glory, Canada is seeking its first-ever victory at the tournament as it faces Bosnia & Herzegovina in Toronto.
The first of our daily World Cup team props centers on the total goals market, with relatively few on the cards when Canada faces Bosnia & Herzegovina in the third game of World Cup 2026. Looking at the latest World Cup odds, we predict under 2.5 goals in Toronto.
Canada will hope its first ever victory at a World Cup arrives today, but it will have to work hard for all three points. Bosnia & Herzegovina is an awkward opponent, as it demonstrated in the European qualification play-offs, coming from behind to draw with Wales and Italy before beating both teams on penalties.
Bosnia & Herzegovina’s games tend to be low-scoring: there have been under 2.5 goals in each of its last five matches, including those tussles with Wales and Italy. Canada, for its part, has been involved in its fair share of uneventful matches in recent months. This specific wager has paid out in nine of its last 10 outings stretching back to last September. And its attacking threat will be reduced if Alphonso Davies is not passed fit.
Canada will attempt to start quickly today, but unless there is an early goal, we anticipate a hard-fought match where most of the play takes place outside the two penalty areas. Back under 2.5 goals at -144 with FanDuel.

Mexico, Canada’s fellow co-host, scored early in its opening game against South Africa. Canada would love to follow suit today, but it will not be easy to open up this Bosnia & Herzegovina backline early on. Canada is at its most threatening when it has gaps to run into, but Sergej Barbarez will make sure his team does not offer space in behind in the opening stages.
In six of its last nine games, Canada and its opponent have been level at half-time. While Jesse Marsch would be delighted to lead with 45 minutes on the clock in Toronto, he will tell his players to be patient. In Qatar four years ago, Canada often got out of the blocks quickly before running out of steam. It will aim to avoid making the same mistake this summer.
There has been parity at the midway point of Bosnia & Herzegovina’s last two games, warm-up friendlies against North Macedonia and Panama. That was also the situation in the play-off semi-final against Wales, when a 0-0 draw at half-time became a 1-1 draw at full-time.
Bosnia & Herzegovina has neither won nor lost any of its last five matches, so the score tends to be close whenever it is in action. Tip a draw at half-time in Canada vs Bosnia & Herzegovina at +105 with FanDuel.

The USA plays its first World Cup game on home soil since 1994, with Paraguay providing the opposition in California as the host nation looks to boost the current odds for USA to win World Cup glory.
The USA is hoping to have Chris Richards fit and available for its opening game. He is the team’s best center-back, and the defensive line would be more vulnerable without the Crystal Palace man. But even if he misses today’s clash in California, there is a good chance the USA will keep a clean sheet.
It would be a mistake to underestimate Paraguay, a potentially awkward and obdurate opponent. But even fans of the team would not describe it as a frightening attacking force. In 18 qualifiers in South America’s marathon process, Paraguay scored just 14 goals. It drew a blank in exactly half of those 18 matches. Even Peru and Chile, the bottom two sides, managed to keep a clean sheet against Paraguay.
Worse still, Gustavo Alfaro’s team has lost Julio Enciso to injury. The attacking midfielder is Paraguay’s main source of invention in the final third, but he was stretchered off in a warm-up friendly last week. Go for Paraguay to score zero goals at +130 with FanDuel.

We now turn our attention to World Cup player props, and there is no better market to focus on than anytime goalscorer. The obvious choices here are Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun, the two men widely expected to be the USA’s primary goal-getters this summer. On this occasion, we favor the latter as our pick to find the back of the net.
Balogun arrives at the World Cup in a confident mood. In the 2025/26 club campaign, he scored 19 goals for Monaco in all competitions. Five of those strikes came in 10 Champions League matches, so it was not just a case of Balogun beating up inferior Ligue 1 opponents.
The London-raised 24-year-old is now a lock for the center-forward role in Mauricio Pochettino’s system. A tally of nine goals in 27 caps for the national team is solid rather than spectacular, but Balogun scored the winner in an impressive win against Senegal last week.
He also struck when the USA beat Paraguay last year, notching the decisive goal in a 2-1 victory. His sharp movement and penalty-box presence will be important today against an opponent which likes to defend in a low block. Choose Folarin Balogun to score any time at +210 with FanDuel.
