Tonight is an unusual time in the NHL. While there are only a few weeks left of the regular season and still numerous games to be played, the player prop numbers are significantly low. There is not a lot of faith in some of these players to stand out. Some of the best player props tonight from DraftKings are from underrated players. Look for two undervalued players to make a significant run in tonight’s games against really bad defenses.
Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Thursday.

One of the first games of the night and potentially one of the biggest blowouts is set as the 40 Panthers go on the road to take on the Ottawa Senators in a divisional rivalry game. The Panthers are averaging 3.2 goals per game, 13th in the league, and are taking on one of the worst teams defensively in the Senators. They are allowing an average of 3.46 goals per game. Ottawa has allowed an average of four goals per game in the two matchups this season against Florida.
Forward Vladimir Tarasenko is facing his old team on Thursday after being traded to the Panthers. Within the last two games, Tarasenko has accounted for four assists. He will have a great opportunity to get his new team on the scoreboard as he is familiar with the weaknesses and structure of the Senators.

The Los Angeles Kings have been all over the place over the past few months. They have lost a significant amount of games as well as won huge matchups. This Thursday night, the king should have an easier time accounting for goals as they go on the road to take over the San Jose Sharks.
Sharks possess the worst defense in the NHL as they allow an average of 3.96 goals per game. There should be a good opportunity for several players of kings to get momentum going.
One player for the Kings who has been establishing himself over the past few weeks is forward Trevor Moore. He scored three goals in the 5-2 home win over the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday. He also accounted for an assist in the 4-3 road loss to the Winnipeg Jets.
Moore has accounted for a goal or an assist in five of the last eight games played for the Kings. He should have an even better chance to account for another solid game, this time against the terrible Sharks.
