MGC Approves Betr & Fanatics

Massachusetts may have already launched sports betting online just over a month ago, but only some providers have launched. Fanatics and Betr were two sports betting operators that said they would operate in Massachusetts but would not launch at the online launch as they would need more time to get ready.

Two New Operators, Bring Massachusetts to Eight Online Sportsbooks

The addition of Betr and Fanatics will bring the number of online sports betting operators in the Commonwealth to eight. Currently, WynnBETDraftKingsFanDuelBarstool, BetMGM, and Caesars are legal online sportsbooks in Massachusetts.

Betr & Fanatics Betting Markets

The new competitors will only add to what has been a strong group of online sports betting operators in the state. Not only that, both Betr and Fanatics have some unique betting markets not see seen at most other sportsbooks.

Betr has shown that they offer many micro-betting markets, including individual plays and scenarios. This includes things like what will happen with the next shot in basketball, the next team to score, or the result of an individual at-bat in baseball.

While Fanatics is a huge apparel brand, and the potential for combo promo offers of betting bonus credits and team apparel could be very appealing to fans.

Betr is currently operating only in Ohio, so Massachusetts will be its second state of operation. At the same time, Fanatics will be operating in three states with the addition of Massachusetts. Granted, Fantics is in beta testing in their two other online locations, Tennessee and Ohio.
