The flailing Seoul Dynasty will be getting a  boost with Slime’s first match of the season. At the same time, the Florida Mayhem continue to dominate the competition and look to make it four in a row at the expense of the Washington Justice.

While a star player is making his first appearance this season and as we continue to keep our eye on a rising contender, big upsets could be on deck when the San Francisco Shock faces the Atlanta Reign and Paris Eternal squares off against the Dallas Fuel. With the league now operating in full effect, this should be a weekend of incredible action and high-tension moments.

Ahead of this weekend’s competitions, hero bans in effect for week 15 include Tracer (Damage), Mei (Damage), Orisa (Tank) and Moira (Support).

Seoul Dynasty vs. Chengdu Hunters

While SLIME may not be enough to take the Dynasty out of mediocrity, we’ll get a better idea of how this team will look against the floundering Chengdu Hunters who only won two maps in their last five games.

SLIME might raise the game of his team around him, but the Dynasty would still be prohibitive favorites over the Hunters even without their hometown hero making his team debut.

We’ll get a better idea of how the Dynasty will look this weekend, but the jury might be out if they can turn their season around.

Florida Mayhem vs. Washington Justice

Florida has looked unstoppable in recent weeks, posting a perfect 3-0 in each of their last four wins. Though they should make it five against the low tier Justice squad, there is plenty to be skeptical about.

Their strength of schedule during their run has been among the weakest in the league, and Washington is far from the threat the Shanghai Dragons or the Philadelphia Fusion would pose.

Either way, Florida hopes to maximize this opportunity and continue to rack up the wins on the way to a high playoff seeding as the season continues on.

San Francisco Shock vs. Atlanta Reign

Though Atlanta is a considerable underdog against the Shock, there is the sense that the Reign can put it together and score a big win against an elite team at any moment.

Of course, the defending champs aren’t taking any matches lightly, but the Reign’s deceptive record could make this a very competitive match.

Chances are that if Atlanta can’t pick up some early momentum and stifle the Shock, San Francisco could run away with this one.

Our Picks

We like the Dynasty, Mayhem and Shock to come out with wins this weekend.
