The Club World Cup was given a makeover ahead of the 2025 edition, and the tournament is expected to again feature 32 teams in 2029. The host nation(s) has not been determined yet, but FIFA is anticipating bids from Australia; Brazil; Qatar; and Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
Chelsea are the reigning champions following their success in 2025. They beat Paris Saint-Germain in the final in New Jersey, having previously eliminated Benfica, Palmeiras and Fluminense in the knockout phase.
The odds for the Club World Cup 2029 have not been revealed yet. Check back here closer to the time.

In 2025, the 32 participants were split into eight groups of four. Each team played three games in the group phase, with the top two in each section advancing to the round of 16. From there, the format was a straight knockout up to and including the final.
We do not yet know where the Club World Cup 2029 will take place. There has been talk of the USA being given the rights again, while FIFA expects to receive bids from Australia; Spain, Portugal and Morocco; Qatar; and Brazil.
The Club World Cup used to be held every year, but that seven-team tournament is now known as the Intercontinental Cup. The Club World Cup, which now contains 32 sides, will take place every four years.
