Byron Buxton has always been a good player, but he has been especially great when facing lefties on the mound. The outfielder’s impressive numbers against southpaws make him a tempting bet to go deep against Patrick Corbin and the Rangers tonight.
Below, we’ll share why we are locking this one in, along with two other home run props we love.

The Giants’ first baseman has been having another solid season and ranks second on the team with 11 home runs. With Matt Chapman landing on the IL with a hand injury, Flores is going to be the star slugger to watch against the Rockies tonight.
Champan will be facing Colorado starter Antonio Senzatela (1-10, 6.68 ERA, 1.97 WHIP) to start today’s game. The 30-year-old is having an awful season and isn’t showing any signs of improvement.
Once Senzatela exits, he’ll be turning things over to one of the worst bullpens in baseball. That means he’ll have plenty of chances to go deep in Denver.

After a very short cold streak, Aaron Judge is back in a big way. He has been getting on base a ton and has five home runs over his last three games alone. It seems nearly impossible to contain the two-time MVP when he gets hot like this, making him the safest home run prop bet on the board today.
Royals’ starter Seth Lugo (3-5, 3.46 ERA, 1.17 WHIP) has had success against Judge in the past, but he’s been vulnerable to the long ball this season. He has given up five home runs over his last three starts, despite not allowing many hits or runs. The 35-year-old could deliver a quality start, but it will include a couple of home runs allowed.

The Twins star has just 10 home runs on the season, but he is set up to add to that total tonight.
There are two reasons we are locking in Buxton tonight. The first is his play at home, where his OPS is .930. He hits with so much more confidence in the Twin Cities, where he has hit six of his ten home runs.
The other reason is his numbers against left-handed pitching, which he’ll face tonight in Patrick Corbin (3-5, 3.52 ERA, 1.17 WHIP). He owns a 1.002 OPS in 31 at-bats against southpaws this season. This has been a theme throughout his career, and it won’t change tonight.
Buxton has faced Corbin just six times, but has gone deep twice.
