About half of MLB’s teams are off on Monday, limiting our options for home run props. Nevertheless, we’ve managed to find four proven home run hitters who have favorable matchups. Admittedly, there are no long shots with big value, but we feel confident in all four of these sluggers going deep.

While Ramirez is a switch-hitter, it’s best to target him on a day he faces a lefty. Four of his six home runs this season have come against southpaws, and that’s just in 32 at-bats, meaning Ramirez homers every eight at-bats against left-handed pitchers. Ramirez also had a six-game hitting streak until Sunday, so don’t be fooled by his .229 average because he’s coming around.
In fairness, Ramirez is only 2 for 12 in his career against Steven Matz, who starts for the Rays on Monday. But Matz has already allowed five home runs this season, including four in his last 8.1 innings. All five of those home runs have been hit by right-handed hitters, putting a switch-hitter like Ramirez in a good spot.

Like Ramirez, Adell has been crushing lefties this season. He’s batting .316 against southpaws, with all four of his home runs coming against lefties. With his in four straight games, Adell is in good shape heading into Monday’s matchup against Anthony Kay and a beleaguered White Sox bullpen.
Admittedly, Adell has never faced Kay in his career. But with Kay giving up four home runs in just 21 innings this year, he’s vulnerable to the long ball. Naturally, all four of those home runs have come against right-handed hitters, and with Adell being the Angels’ best hitter against lefties this year, he’s the player you want to target to take Kay deep.

Muncy didn’t play on Sunday because he was a little under the weather, but look for him to be back in action on Monday and going for his 10th home run of the season. Keep in mind that Muncy has hit at least 35 home runs on four occasions, so the power he’s shown early in the season isn’t a huge surprise. Plus, before Sunday’s off-day, he had four hits in his last 11 at-bats, including three extra-base hits.
As a team, the Dodgers are in good shape against Miami’s Chris Paddack on Monday. That includes Muncy, who is 4 for 15 against Paddack. However, all four of those hits have gone for extra bases, including two home runs. The kicker is that Paddack has given up five home runs this season, so he’ll be vulnerable against a hitter like Muncy.

Out of everyone on the Dodgers, Hernandez has had the most success against Paddack. It’s a small sample size, but 4 for 6 with a double can’t be ignored. With his 6.38 ERA, it’s actually been right-handed hitters who have done the most damage against Paddack this year.
Meanwhile, Hernandez has been at his best against righties. He has reverse splits in 2026, batting .257 with all four of his home runs coming against righties, compared to a .182 average against lefties. That gives him a favorable matchup on Monday against a pitcher who’s off to a rough start this season.
