Astros vs. Rangers (8:10 PM, EST)
Astros Moneyline (+108) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Houston opened at +110, and they should be -110 by the first pitch. Hunter Brown will pitch for Houston, and he has been fantastic this season with a 6-1 record, 1.48 ERA, and a 0.90 WHIP.
He has allowed just 40 hits in 48.2 innings with 58 strikeouts, but his most impressive stat is that he has allowed just one home run this season. The Rangers aren't a high-powered offense, but it's good to know that Brown will keep the ball in the yard.
Texas’ offense has been one of the worst in baseball. They have won with great pitching, but when they have faced elite arms, they have come up short.
The team is 27th in runs scored, right next to the White Sox, Rockies, and Pirates. Even their starting pitcher, Jacob deGrom, will need run support, and I don't think they get enough against Brown.

Orioles vs. Twins (12:35 PM, EST)
Orioles Moneyline (-130) at FanDuel Sportsbook
The Orioles have lost two straight games against the Twins, and they're struggling this season. They have been bad mainly because of their pitching staff, but they do have the edge when it comes to the starter on Thursday.
Tomoyuki Sugano will pitch for Baltimore. He is 4-2 with a 2.72 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP. He has allowed just 39 hits in 46.1 innings. He limits walks despite not having great strikeout ability.
Chris Paddack hasn't been nearly as trustworthy for Minnesota. The team is 2-3 in his past five starts. Minnesota has won ten games in a row, but it will be hard to beat Baltimore for the 7th consecutive game, as they have been part of the winning streak for two series.

Nationals vs. Braves (12:15 PM, EST)
Padres Moneyline (-115) at FanDuel Sportsbook
At first glance, I wanted to take the over on this matchup. Trevor Williams has a 5.88 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP.
AJ Smith-Shawver has a 2.76 ERA but a 1.35 WHIP, so there are plenty of ways for this game to exceed the total. However, I believe Smith-Shawver will have too much success against Washington, and if the scoring is one-sided, it will be hard for this game to surpass the line.
Washington is a middle-of-the-road offense. They're 16th in runs scored, and they'll face a pitcher who is finding his stride at the right time.
Smith has gone at least five innings in four straight starts and hasn't given up more than two earned runs in any start. He has allowed just one earned run in his past 13.2 innings, so he should have enough to tame Washington.
While Williams has been bad, Atlanta hasn't put up many crooked numbers either, so I don't think there is enough pop to get this game over the total.
