Mariners vs. Tigers - Bryan Woo vs. Framber Valdez

If you like pitching, you’ll want to tune in for Mariners and Tigers on Friday. This series should be very exciting with Detroit coming off a sweep of the Rays. 

Under 0.5 Run (-150) at DraftKings

Bryan Woo has been one of the most reliable starters in baseball this season. The right-hander enters with a 5-3 record, a 3.44 ERA, and an outstanding 0.96 WHIP across 70.2 innings.

Woo has allowed just 54 hits while striking out 68 batters and issuing only 14 walks. His ability to attack the strike zone and avoid free passes has consistently helped him navigate the early innings without trouble.

Detroit counters with veteran left-hander Framber Valdez. While his 4.39 ERA doesn't jump off the page, Valdez remains capable of generating weak contact and keeping the ball in the yard. He has surrendered only seven home runs across 67.2 innings while limiting opponents to 64 hits.

Both starters have the tools to work through the top of opposing lineups, making this one of the stronger NRFI options available today.

Rays vs. Marlins - Drew Rasmussen vs. Ryan Gusto

Drew Rasmussen has quietly put together another strong season for Tampa Bay. They’re in the driver’s seat in the American League.

Rassmussen owns a 3.36 ERA and 1.02 WHIP while recording 55 strikeouts against only 12 walks.

Rasmussen's command has been one of his biggest strengths, and he has consistently avoided the type of mistakes that lead to quick first-inning runs.

Miami will send Ryan Gusto to the mound. While his sample size is limited, Gusto's ability to miss bats gives him a chance to survive the opening frame. 

He has recorded four strikeouts in just three innings of work and will be looking to establish himself early against a Rays lineup that has been inconsistent at times.

With Rasmussen providing confidence on one side and Gusto needing only three outs on the other, this matchup offers value for NRFI bettors.

Guardians vs. Rangers - Parker Messick vs. Kumar Rocker

Parker Messick has been one of the biggest surprises of the season. He should stay hot against the Rangers.

Messick enters with a stellar 6-1 record, a 2.21 ERA, and a 1.07 WHIP through 69.1 innings.

Messick has allowed just 53 hits while striking out 74 batters, showing an impressive combination of swing-and-miss ability and run prevention. His success early in games has made him a pitcher worth backing in NRFI markets.

Texas will turn to Kumar Rocker, who has shown flashes of why he was once considered one of baseball's top pitching prospects. Rocker has a 3.54 ERA while allowing fewer than a hit per inning across 56 innings pitched.

Although his command has been inconsistent at times, Rocker's strikeout potential gives him the ability to neutralize dangerous hitters before they can generate early offense.

With two talented young starters on the mound, this game has all the ingredients for a scoreless first inning.
