Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox - Dean Kremer vs. Jake Bennett (7:10 PM, EST)
After a slow start to the year, Dean Kremer will be able to round back into form against the Boston Red Sox by attacking a lineup who grades out poorly on offense.
Under 0.5 Run (-120) at BetMGM Sportsbook
After rattling off a lengthy win streak, the Boston Red Sox odds of winning the AL East have steadily grown, now sitting just six games back from first. Even during their recent hot stretch of play, the Red Sox have still struggled at the plate, ranking below league average in Hit Rate and in On Base Percentage. Despite these offensive woes, their AL East odds remain surprisingly competitive.
Against the Baltimore Orioles, the Red Sox low level of play on offense will be on full display as they face off against Dean Kremer who is averaging a WHIP of 1.115 while giving up less than one Hit Against per inning. Even with his back end underwhelming in coverage, Kremer’s ability to avoid contact will put them in low quality contact scenarios, lowering the probability of getting burned by an error.
Locked into a duel with Kremer, Jake Bennett is expected to get the start for the Red Sox, a dominant arm who is averaging an ERA of 2.35 and a WHIP of 0.876. With the Orioles also struggling to make contact per their bottom ten mark in Hit Rate, Bennett will be able to continue to create Whiffs at a high rate and hold them scoreless in the first inning.

San Francisco Giants vs. Kansas City Royals - Landen Roupp vs. Seth Lugo (2:10 PM, EST)
Positive regression looms large over Seth Lugo with the San Francisco Giants incapable of stringing together their Hits to get into scoring position.
Under 0.5 Run (-110) at BetMGM Sportsbook
A former contender for the Cy Young award, Seth Lugo has been unable to get into a groove this season, averaging an ERA of 4.39 and a FIP of 4.34 in 20 appearances. Lugo’s slump can be attributed to his lack of punch out ability, generating less than one Strikeout per inning. Consequently, his Cy Young odds have plummeted as the season has progressed.
Fortunately for Lugo, he will have a great opportunity to snap his cold streak in a matchup against the San Francisco Giants by taking advantage of an offense who ranks in the bottom half of the board in RBIs, Runs Scored, On Base Percentage, and in OPS. Especially with his back end narrowing the width of the Giants gaps in the outfield, fielding a group who ranks above league average in Fielding Percentage.
On the other end, Landen Roupp has had a more successful start to the year, averaging a FIP of 3.33 while conceding less than one Hit Against per inning. With the Royals grading out equally as poor in their efforts of scoring, Roupp will be able to create Whiffs at a higher rate and keep a clean sheet in the first inning.

Best YRFI Bets Today
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Philadelphia Phillies - Eric Lauer vs. Aaron Nola - Expect the reigning World Series champions to get off to a hot start against Aaron Nola, exploiting an arm who is currently averaging an ERA of 5.68, a WHIP of 1.447, and a FIP of 4.96. This favorable matchup is just one reason why they remain the heavy favorites in the latest World Series odds.
Minnesota Twins vs. Cleveland Guardians - Bailey Ober vs. Slade Cecconi - With Slade Cecconi giving up over one Hit per inning, his struggles on the mound are poised to persist against Minnesota, battling it out against a lineup who ranks near the top of the board in Hit Rate and in OPS.
