However, we’ve chosen to dig a little deeper on Wednesday and look for players who make good home run targets for reasons other than their 2026 home run total. Even if the names are a little surprising, we believe there is excellent value to be found.

Home Run Picks for Wednesday, May 13

There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the three players we’re locked in on. 

Shea Langeliers Anytime Home Run (+210) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Langeliers is putting together quite the season thus far. He’s currently second in the majors in batting average, while also mashing 12 home runs, including one on Tuesday night. Going back to the end of April, Langeliers has eight multi-hit games in his last 12 games, hitting four home runs and six doubles during that stretch, so he’s raging hot at the moment. 

While Langeliers has fewer at-bats against left-handed pitchers this season, he’s absolutely crushed southpaws with a .659 slugging percentage. That sets him up for success on Wednesday against St. Louis lefty Matthew Liberatore. Langeliers is just 2 for 6 with no extra-base hits in his career against Liberatore. But at this point, he’s a good bet to go deep against any lefty.

Ben Rice Anytime Home Run (+330) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Aaron Judge has stiff competition this year for the best hitter on his team, and it’s coming from Rice. Like Langeliers, he’s hitting over .300 while also showing off plenty of power, mashing 13 home runs thus far. After going hitless over the weekend, Rice is heating up again, going 3 for 8 with a home run over the last two games with the Orioles.

On Wednesday, Rice and the Yankees are matched up against Kyle Bradish. In eight career at-bats against Bradish, Rice has four hits, including a home run. Bradish has run into trouble in his last few starts, including a start against the Yankees. With Rice facing him for the second time in less than two weeks, he should be ready to keep up his past success against Bradish.

Ozzie Albies Anytime Home Run (+490) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Albies has been a key part of Atlanta’s success this season. More importantly, he’s having another year in which he’s been crushing lefties. He’s hitting .358 with a .597 slugging percentage against southpaws, which is why he’s someone worth looking at closely anytime the Braves face a left-handed starter.

Naturally, we’re targeting Albies on Wednesday because the Braves are facing lefty Shota Imanaga. Granted, Imanaga is having a good season, posting a 2.28 ERA and allowing just four home runs in 47.1 innings. On the other hand, Albies is 5 for 9 with two home runs in his career against Imanaga, which is enough to take a flier on him given his home run odds.

Teoscar Hernandez Anytime Home Run (+420) at FanDuel Sportsbook

On paper, Hernandez and the Dodgers have a tough matchup against Robbie Ray on Wednesday. However, Ray’s 2.76 ERA is a little misleading because he’s allowed eight home runs in just 45.2 innings. All eight of those home runs have been hit by right-handed hitters, so a right-handed power hitter like Hernandez immediately becomes a viable target.

Hernandez has had his way with Ray in the past, going 5 for 14 with two home runs against him. Admittedly, Hernandez has just four home runs this season, with his last one coming on April 15. But he’s had an uptick, going 4 for 12 in his last four games, and with a favorable matchup against Ray, it’s worth taking a shot on Hernandez.
