Best MLB Home Run Predictions Today: Who’s Going Deep in the Midsummer Classic?
On the heels of last night’s Home Run Derby, one can only hope that there are plenty more home runs on tap for tonight’s All-Star Game. Citizens Bank Park is typically known as a hitter-friendly park, and at the midway point of the season, it ranks among MLB ballparks in home runs. Of course, the Phillies are a big reason why that’s the case. Nevertheless, we are hoping for home runs tonight, and we have picked out a few of our top candidates to go deep in the Midsummer Classic.

Home Run Picks for Tuesday, July 14
There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the players we’re locked in on.
Kyle Schwarber Anytime Home Run (+370) at FanDuel Sportsbook
As the MLB home run leader at the break, it makes all the sense in the world to think Schwarber will go deep during the All-Star Game. It doesn’t hurt that he’s playing in his home ballpark, where Schwarber has hit 19 of his 32 home runs this season. In a familiar setting, Schwarber should be more likely to hit a home run than anyone else.
The kicker is that Schwarber has a good track record against Dylan Cease, who starts for the American League. In 13 career at-bats against Cease, Schwarber has two home runs. While he will only get one at-bat against Cease, his history against Cease shows that he’s more than capable of taking him deep.

Junior Caminero Anytime Home Run (+560) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Hot streaks aren’t always going to translate over the All-Star Game, but it’s hard not to back Caminero in the Midsummer Classic. His power over the last few weeks has been unreal. Starting on June 23, Caminero has hit 13 home runs in 19 games. During that stretch, he’s been more likely to hit a home run than not hit a home run, which isn’t easy to do.
As a starter, Caminero should get at least three at-bats on Tuesday, which might be more at-bats than he needs to go deep. Of course, outside of Cristopher Sanchez, it’s tough to predict which pitchers Caminero will face. But given how hot he’s been lately, it probably doesn’t matter who Caminero faces; he’s a threat to go deep against anybody.

Ben Rice Anytime Home Run (+750) at FanDuel Sportsbook
With Aaron Judge sidelined for the last six weeks, Rice has stepped up to fill the void. The Yankees haven’t missed Judge’s power as much as expected because Rice has 29 home runs at the break. Believe it or not, he’s currently third in the majors in home runs, behind only Schwarber and Yordan Alvarez.
Equally important, Rice has been crushing it heading into the All-Star break. He already has six home runs in July, including five in his last seven games. Similar to Caminero, it might be best to bet on a player who brings momentum into the All-Star Game. Also, since left-handed hitters tend to hit more home runs at Citizens Bank Park, Rice feels like an excellent bet.

Mike Trout Anytime Home Run (+870) at FanDuel Sportsbook
While Schwarber and Brandon Marsh will have the hometown fans behind them, Trout will be having a homecoming of sorts himself. He was born and raised about 40 miles south of Philadelphia, so playing in an All-Star Game so close to home is a big deal for him. At age 34, there’s no way of knowing if this could be Trout’s last All-Star Game, making this a big deal for the future Hall of Famer.
Equally important, Trout is plenty capable of hitting a home run, mashing 18 during the first half of the season, putting him on track for his highest total since he hit 40 home runs in 2022. He’s also 5 for 18 with a home run in his four games since returning from the IL, so Trout should be feeling good heading into the Midsummer Classic, making him the perfect sentimental target for a home run prop.
