Best MLB Home Run 2026 07 31 Brewers Brice Turang

Home Run Picks for Friday, July 31

There are some fantastic home run props out there today, but some stand above the rest. Below are the three players we’re locked in on.

Brice Turang Anytime Home Run (+520) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The NL Central-leading Brew Crew moved their Platinum Glove second baseman to the top of the lineup, and he has responded in a big way. In his first two games as Milwaukee’s leadoff man, Turang went 5-for-10 with four RBIs. While his power swing hasn’t been flashing much in July, his confidence at the plate against some bad pitching tonight makes him a fantastic value home run prop bet. Sustained production like this will only solidify Milwaukee's NL Central odds as they push for a division title.

The Angels will be sending out Ryan Johnson (2-5, 7.34 ERA, 1.54 WHIP) to face a very dangerous Brewers lineup. That’s bad news for the 23-year-old, who has not adapted well in his first year as a starter. It seemed he may be figuring things out earlier this month, but that ended when he allowed eight runs to the Giants over just 3 ⅓ innings. That included a monster three-run home run that put the game away for good.

While Turang has yet to face Johnson, he has dominated right-handed pitchers. He owns a .916 OPS and registered 14 of his 15 home runs against them this season. With a struggling righty set to start, we love Turang’s chances of adding another long ball tonight.

Once Johnson exits the game, he’ll turn things over to a bad Angels bullpen. They have allowed 52 home runs this season, and own the seventh-highest ERA in the league.

Bryan Reynolds Anytime Home Run (+400) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Pirates veteran star has had a quiet July, but we are betting he finishes it with a bang tonight. One reason for that is his four-game hit streak, which includes a game-tying home run on Tuesday. We fully expect his bat to remain hot as he returns to Great American Ballpark, where he registered two home runs earlier this season.

The other reason we are backing the 31-year-old is Reds starter Hunter Greene (2-2, 7.06 ERA, 1.34 WHIP). The 2024 All-Star missed the first half of the season after requiring surgery on his right elbow, but has yet to return to form. After delivering two quality starts, Greene was crushed by the Cardinals in his last start.

He didn’t allow a home run but did surrender seven runs (6 ER) on eight hits and two walks over 5 ⅓ innings.

While the young pitcher is too good to slump much longer, Reynolds will enter the matchup with the upper hand. In 16 ABs, the outfielder has a .313 average and a home run. We expect him to tag the recovering pitcher for another one tonight.

Chase DeLauter Anytime Home Run (+480) at FanDuel Sportsbook

This is our biggest longshot of the day, but we believe the promising Guardians rookie is set up for a big night. That’s largely due to his play against left-handed pitching, where he owns a .371 average and .941 OPS this season. Considering he’s also been playing the best baseball of his career in July, we love his chances to finish the month strong tonight.

The southpaw DeLauter will face the Diamondbacks rookie Mitch Bratt (0-1, 6.32 ERA, 1.98 WHIP). The 23-year-old will be making his fifth career start, but has shown little confidence on the mound. He’s allowed four home runs in less than 13 innings this month, posting a brutal 7.11 ERA.

Bratt’s biggest issue is facing left-handed hitters like DeLauter. They are batting .364 with a 1.209 OPS in 22 at-bats against the young starter. Combine that with DeLauter’s numbers against left-handed pitching, and you can see why we are locking in this longshot.
