When the NBA's Tuesday night schedule tips off, fans and bettors will have seven exciting matchups to keep an eye on.
In a high-tempo Eastern Conference clash, the Charlotte Hornets take on the Toronto Raptors. The Utah Jazz will host the Cleveland Cavaliers in inter-conference play. And it'll be a high-profile game when the LA Clippers take on the Dallas Mavericks!
Let's check out the bets!

Team | Spread | Total | Money |
Charlotte Hornets | +7.5 (-110) BET HERE | O 231.5 (-110) BET HERE | +250 BET HERE |
Toronto Raptors | -7.5 (-110) BET HERE | U 231.5 (-110) BET HERE | -315 BET HERE |
Both the Charlotte Hornets and the Toronto Raptors are on the outside looking in at the Eastern Conference's playoff positions. The Toronto Raptors are coming off a win over the Portland Trail Blazers in their last game, despite losing six of their last 10 matches. The Charlotte Hornets lost to the Indiana Pacers last time out, now dropping seven of their last 10 games.
The Hornets are an enthusiastic offensive team, despite being poor in terms of efficiency. Charlotte push the pace to the tune of 93.4 field goal attempts per game (1st in the NBA), despite shooting just 44.6% from the field (29th in the NBA) and 32.5% from three (30th in the NBA). The Raptors will test them with their tenacious defense that holds teams to 111.2 points per game (8th in the NBA) and forces 17.3 turnovers per game (1st in the NBA). In terms of style, this is a very contrasting matchup.
The Toronto Raptors are nearly back to full health and they've looked improved if not impressive in their recent outings. While the Hornets love to run the break, so do the Raptors. Expect Toronto to come out as the clear victor in this game through their aggressive two-way play.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Utah Jazz face off in what should be an exciting offense-defense matchup. The Cavaliers are coming off a win in their last game, now entering the third game of their five-game road trip. The Jazz return home from a short three-game road trip, entering this game off the back of back-to-back losses.
Through their recent two-game losing streak, the Utah Jazz's defense has been suspect. They've allowed 124.5 points per game on 48.6% from the field and 42.4% from three-point range while also forcing just 10.0 turnovers per game. For the Cavaliers, they've been able to hold off their opponents despite allowing them to shoot 46.9% from the field and 40.6% from deep over their last five games.
The Cavaliers' big men will be under the microscope in this game as both of their star guards have nagging injuries. Utah are certain to push the tempo, but the versatility of the Cavaliers' defense should push the game in Cleveland's favor.

In the star-studded matchup of the night, the Dallas Mavericks and the LA Clippers face off. The Mavericks have alternated wins in their last five games, most recently losing 109-120 to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The LA Clippers have struggled significantly as of late, losing six games in a row.
Usually a solid defensive team, the LA Clippers have allowed their opponents to score 119.8 points per game on 50.5% from the field and 34.3% from three-point range in their six-game losing run. The Mavericks have been mostly successful over their recent five-game run, but their defense has been inconsistent having allowed 118.4 points to their 113.6 points through a 3-2 run.
The Mavericks' up-and-down nature seems to come with their inability to find consistency on the defensive end. Against a rather efficient team in the Clippers, who are also dangerous on the defensive end, expect the Mavericks to have one of their tougher nights. If Paul George returns to the lineup, the Clippers could quickly break their losing streak.
