Both the Cleveland Cavaliers and New Orleans Pelicans are aiming to return to their earlier season position in the standings. The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 35-22 overall record but just a 12-16 road record. The New Orleans Pelicans have fallen to seventh in the Western Conference with a 29-27 overall record but an impressive 20-9 overall record.
This will be the second and last time that the Cavaliers and Pelicans meet this season. The last time these two teams met the Cavaliers took the victory, 103-113. The New Orleans Pelicans will have home-court advantage this time out, where the Pelicans have won 11 straight.

Both the Cleveland Cavaliers and New Orleans Pelicans are looking to improve their position in their respective conference.
