NFL Prop Bets for Divisional Round

We’re just a couple of round away from the Super Bowl, and this weekend, we have the Divisional Round.

This round will determine the two teams playing in their respective Conference Championship.

Below, we have the three best single-player prop bets for this weekend.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Pick: Evan Engram Over 5.5 Receptions (+130) at DraftKings

If you needed any confirmation that Engram was a big part of the Jaguars offense, look to their Wild Card matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. Engram had seven catches on 11 targets for 93 yards and a score in that game.

Going on the road against the Chiefs, the Jaguars are sizable underdogs. The Chiefs have two solid cornerbacks in Trent McDuffie and L’Jarius Snead. This is important because Lawrence could look to funnel more targets Engram’s way, especially in this matchup with linebacker Willie Gay Jr.

This season, Gay has allowed 47 receptions on 51 targets. As you can see, if Gay gets targeted, he almost always (92% of the time) allows a reception.

Look for Engram to be the guy for Lawrence here in this hostile environment.

It seems as though Jones clears his rushing prop every week. Over his last two games, Jones ran for 91 yards (Week 17) and 78 yards (Wild Card).

Jones sat out in Week 18 against the Eagles, but if you go back to Week 14, you’ll see that Jones had just two designed runs for 26 yards.

At home, the Eagles allow 112.7 rushing yards per game. The Giants will want to utilize running back Saquon Barkley on the road as underdogs to keep the ball out of the hands of the Eagles.

The Eagles have had some issues recently, but with Hurts in the lineup and after a bye week, they should be back to form.

Jones’ prop of 44.5 rushing yards looks minuscule compared to his recent results. Still, the Eagles defense has proven it can contain Jones’ rushing ability, and the Giants game plan may need to change here as road underdogs.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys

Pick: Brock Purdy Under 19.5 Completions (+100) at Caesars

Purdy has been excellent since his first significant appearance filling in for Jimmy Garoppolo in Week 13.

He’s thrown for three touchdowns in back-to-back games and threw for over 332 yards in the Wild Card game.

Looking at his starts, Purdy has cleared 19.5 completions just once over his six starts. Against the Cowboys, Purdy will have some good matchups against their cornerbacks. He has running back Christian McCaffrey, who’s a fantastic pass catcher who could help with some easy completions. Still, the Cowboys offense demonstrated against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that they could be explosive.

Sure, the 49ers defense is better, but the 49ers utilize the rushing game quite well, especially in the playoffs. This is a matchup they could very well lose. Look for the 49ers to run the ball well here and control the clock.
