Sunday Night Football Prop Bets Week 14: AFC West Showdown in Kansas City
-
Kansas City leads the AFC West at 11-1
-
Los Angeles has won five of their last six games
-
The Chiefs are 2.5-point favorites at home
Kansas City has the best record in the NFL, but their games have typically come down to the final possession. The Chiefs are just 4-7 against the spread in 2024.
The Chargers enter Sunday’s matchup coming off a win over Atlanta and are looking to knock off the defending Super Bowl champions. Justin Herbert has been playing great football, and the Chargers defense has been spectacular.
Los Angeles has the 10th-best passing defense in the NFL, and Mahomes hasn’t put up great numbers in 2024. However, we see a lot of scoring in prime time.
We have three anytime touchdown prop bets that we are targeting for this matchup on FanDuel Sportsbook.
New customers on FanDuel Sportsbook can get $150 in bonus bets instantly if their first $5 wager wins on the app. This is a great way to rack up bonuses for the upcoming NFL and college football playoffs.
Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown (+140) at FanDuel
Throughout his career, Kelce has averaged six catches for almost 70 yards per game against the Chargers. In these matchups, he averages about eight targets per game.
It has been a rough year for Kelce in 2024, but he shines in prime time. Kelce has 75 receptions for 637 yards to go with two touchdowns.
Kelce had seven catches for 89 yards in the first matchup between these teams. We know he will be the main target in the red zone against a division opponent, and we trust him to score.
The Chargers have the third-best defensive red zone scoring percentage in the NFL. They allow opponents to score only 43% of the time.
We expect Los Angeles to shut down Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt in the red zone, forcing the Chiefs to throw the ball. Outside of Hopkins, Kelce will be the best target to find for the Chiefs in Week 14.

Ladd McConkey Anytime Touchdown (+195) at FanDuel
McConkey has been one of the best rookie receivers in the NFL, and we think he will have a great game Sunday night. In 2024, McConkey has 58 receptions for 815 yards and four touchdowns.
Herbert has been targeting McConkey a lot more as the season develops. He has 21 catches in the last three games for 323 yards.
With Quentin Johnohnston's struggles, McConkey has been this team's most reliable option through the air.
As we have seen all season, the Chargers like to attack the opponent’s secondary down the field for big plays. McConkey is more than capable of breaking a huge play for a touchdown.
We expect the Chargers to throw the ball a lot and McConkey to be the main target on Sunday.

DeAndre Hopkins Anytime Touchdown (+250) at FanDuel
Hopkins is one of the best red zone receivers in the NFL because of his size and catch ability. He is a mismatch for any corner in the league and is due for a breakout game.
Hopkins has 41 receptions and 498 yards to go with four touchdowns. Against the Raiders in the last matchup, he had four receptions for 90 yards.
Hopkins has been mostly kept out of the end zone in 2024, and we expect this to change. Part of Hopkins' lack of touchdowns is thanks to Kansas City's poor offensive line.
Former MVP Patrick Mahomes hasn’t posted the best numbers in 2024 because he hasn’t had time to throw the football. Kansas City made a change at left tackle in last week’s contest, hoping to find better success.
Kansas City acquired tackle DJ Humphries a few weeks ago, but he has been sidelined due to an injury. Humphries is expected to return to play this week, which will make the offensive unit stronger.
Look for Mahomes to get time to throw the ball and find Hopkins in the end zone to cash our final touchdown scorer bet.
