5 ft. 8 in. Height 5 ft. 8 in.
70.5 in. Reach 68 in.
19-7-1 Record 24-3

Riding three wins and three performance bonuses in a row, Marlon Vera gets his second shot against a former UFC champion when he takes on Dominick Cruz in the main event.

After handing Sean O’Malley his first professional loss, Vera came up short against his first former champion – losing to Jose Aldo by decision in 2020.

Since the loss to Aldo, Vera has won three straight. He most recently defeated Rob Font this past April.

Former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz is hoping to win his third in a row after taking out Casey Kenney and, most recently, Pedro Munhoz at UFC 269 last December.

Both men stand at equal height but Vera will have the 2.5-inch reach advantage. Vera’s black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu also outweighs Cruz’s rank of a blue belt.

After losing his UFC debut in 2021, David Onama has now won two straight and is one of the two biggest betting favorites on the main card at -295.

Onama has had two fights already in 2022 and most recently submitted Garrett Armfield just one month ago.

Nate Landwehr is 2-2 over his last four fights. He last fought in October 2021 – defeating L’udovit Klein by third-round submission, earning him a performance of the night bonus.

Onama will stand two inches taller than Landwehr and will also have a two-inch reach advantage.

Yazmin Jauregui vs Iasmin Lucindo – Women’s Strawweight Division

Two women making their UFC debuts this Saturday are strawweights Yazmin Jauregui and Iasmin Lucindo.

Jauregui is undefeated as a professional, having most recently competed for Combate Global – defeating Claire Lopez via first-round TKO last August.

Lucindo is riding a seven-fight winning streak with her last fight taking place this past April. She won via unanimous decision at Cage FS 10.

The Mexican-born Jauregui is a heavy favorite at -245.

After impressing on the Contender Series with a first-round TKO win last August, the undefeated Azamat Murzakanov will now make his UFC debut this Saturday.

He takes on Devin Clark, who is 2-2 over his last four fights.

After losing two straight, Clark is now looking to win his second in a row after defeating William Knight via third-round TKO this past April.

Clark will have the height and reach advantage in this fight but Murzakanov is still listed as the -170 favorite.

Ariane Lipski vs Priscila Cachoeira – Women’s Bantamweight Division

Ariane Lipski TALE OF THE TAPE Priscila Cachoeira

Rescheduled from last week’s ESPN event, Ariane Lipski will now take on Priscila Cachoeira in the women’s bantamweight division.

Lipski recently snapped a two-fight losing skid with her unanimous decision win over Mandy Bohm last September.

Cachoeira most recently fought Ji Yeon Kim this past February. In what was deemed the fight of the night, Cachoeira came out victorious – defeating Kim via unanimous decision.

Both women hold purple belts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Lipski, listed as the -175 favorite, will have a two-inch reach advantage.

Gerald Meerschaert vs Bruno Silva – Middleweight Division

Gerald Meerschaert TALE OF THE TAPE Bruno Silva
34 Age 33

Riding a seven-fight winning streak into his last fight, Bruno Silva saw his streak snapped by title contender Alex Pereira this past March via unanimous decision.

Gerald Meerschaert also had a winning streak snapped in his most recent bout. After winning three straight, Meerschaert was recently defeated by Krzysztof Jotko via decision this past April.

Meerschaert stands one inch taller and will have a three-inch reach advantage.
