World Cup BTTS Predictions 2026 06 19 Folarin Balogun

USA vs. Australia: BTTS Yes (+100) at DraftKings

Mauricio Pochettino could not have asked for a better start to the USA’s World Cup campaign. The co-host was among the most impressive performers on matchday one, a statement victory that has already caused a stir in the futures market regarding the USA odds to win World Cup glory. However, our Both Teams to Score tips for today include the prediction that the USMNT will not keep a clean sheet in its second outing of the summer.

Pochettino’s team has had a mixed record over the last couple of years, but the USA delivered one of its best performances when it mattered most. Paraguay had no answer for its energy and intensity in and out of possession. The USA’s offense proved too hot to handle, as a 4-1 victory sent the Stars and Stripes to top spot in Group D. Now it is looking for victory number two.

Australia delivered a defensive masterclass in its 2-0 defeat of Turkey. It had just 28 percent possession but scored twice, whereas Turkey dominated the ball, had 30 shots and did not beat the Australian goalkeeper Patrick Beach. Tony Popovic’s side will use a similar game plan against the USA.

Australia were very well organized last time out, but the USA has the attacking talent to prise open its backline. However, the Socceroos carry a threat on the counter-attack via the likes of Mohamed Toure and Nestory Irankunda. Tip BTTS yes at +100 with DraftKings.

Scotland vs. Morocco: BTTS No (-130) at DraftKings

Scotland won its first World Cup match in 36 years last weekend, edging out Haiti 1-0 in Group C. It was an important win for Steve Clarke’s side, but the match could have gone either way. Haiti held its own against Scotland, and the xG at full-time was exactly level at 1.05 apiece. On another day, Scotland could easily have dropped points.

A tougher test awaits against Morocco. It delivered an eye-catching display in the first half of a 1-1 draw with Brazil, only to take its foot off the gas after the interval. Mohamed Ouahbi’s team is ranked seventh in the world by FIFA, so Scotland is the clear underdog today when looking at the latest World Cup odds. It will aim to frustrate Morocco by packing men behind the ball, but that will not be enough to stop them.

When he was appointed manager earlier this year, Ouahbi was tasked with making Morocco a more attack-minded side. But despite that shift in emphasis, the North Africans are still defensively solid. It took a moment of magic from Vinicius Junior for Brazil to score last time out, and Scotland does not have the same level of individual talent in its roster.

Consider, too, that both teams have scored in just one of Scotland’s last five games. Back BTTS no at -130 with DraftKings.

Brazil vs Haiti: BTTS No (-165) at DraftKings

Brazil did not look like a five-time world champion in its opening match against Morocco. It was the inferior team in the first half and was fortunate that Vinicius Junior popped up with that brilliant finish to draw it level. The balance of the side did not look right, so Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff have no doubt been busy at the tactics board in recent days.

The good news for the Selecao is that its hardest game of the group stage is out of the way, leaving them in a strong position when looking at the latest World Cup Group Stage odds. Haiti are not in the class of Morocco, and although it would still be unwise to underestimate the Caribbean nation, this match gives Brazil an opportunity to lay down a marker.

Ancelotti is poised to make a few personnel changes as he continues to search for the right blend. The Brazil boss will be looking for more control here, as well as greater attacking incision. At the other end of the field, Brazil needs to tighten up. Morocco played through its off-the-ball structure far too easily.

Haiti has a limited offense, so a clean sheet is well within reach for Brazil. Go for BTTS no at -165 with DraftKings.

Turkey vs. Paraguay: BTTS Yes (-120) at DraftKings

We finish up our BTTS predictions today by considering a match which will be of interest to fans of the USMNT. Mauricio Pochettino’s men beat Paraguay 4-1 in its first fixture. If it can beat Australia today and this game ends in a draw, the USA will be guaranteed top spot in Group D. In theory at least, that should give them a kinder draw in the knockout rounds.

Paraguay has a reputation as a difficult team to play against, but it did not look that way against the USA. That is to the credit of the co-host, but Turkey has the attacking quality to prise open the opposition backline.

Granted, Turkey failed to score against Australia, but before that it notched at least one goal in eight consecutive matches. And for all its shortcomings on matchday one, Paraguay still found the net.

A win for either team would be a huge boost to its chances of reaching the round of 32. Turkey and Paraguay need to take a few risks, so pick BTTS yes at -120 with DraftKings.
