The USMNT returns to the field today, and we have singled out four FIFA World Cup props that offer compelling storylines across the games taking place. Brazil also plays on Day 9, with Haiti providing the opposition to the five-time world champions.

A prop bet is a wager on a specific in-game event, rather than one that predicts the final score. We have picked out our favorite World Cup player props and team selections ahead of the matches in Toronto and Inglewood.

USA vs. Australia

The USA and Australia will both be looking to build on the victories they registered on matchday one, a strong start that has already caused a noticeable shift in the USA odds to win World Cup futures.

Over 2.5 Goals (-105) at DraftKings

The USA was one of the best teams in the first round of fixtures at World Cup 2026. It delivered arguably its standout display of the Mauricio Pochettino era in a 4-1 thumping of Paraguay, a result which has left the co-host in pole position to win Group D.

Australia was also triumphant last weekend, upsetting the odds to defeat Turkey 2-0. Tony Popovic’s game plan worked a treat. Australia contained Turkey by squeezing space in its defensive third, then broke forward at speed on the counter-attack. It scored two goals that way, and its disciplined defending produced a clean sheet.

However, it will be harder for Australia to keep the American offense quiet. The USA has numerous options in attack and it will not play into Australia’s hands by taking hopeful long shots from distance like Turkey did.

The last game between these two teams ended 2-1 to the USA last October. That was one of seven occasions in the USA’s last eight matches that at least three goals were scored. Our first recommended prop bet for today’s World Cup action is over 2.5 goals in USA vs Australia at -105 with DraftKings.

Scotland vs. Morocco

Scotland will be looking for a second win at World Cup 2026 as it targets a place in the knockout phase, a realistic goal that has been reflected in their favorable World Cup Group Stage odds.

Morocco to Win the First Half (+145) at DraftKings

Scotland won its first World Cup game since 1990 last weekend, defeating Haiti 1-0. Steve Clarke’s side was customarily dogged and resilient, but it only squeezed past the Caribbean nation. Having three points in the bag is invaluable, yet Scotland still has work to do. Its current tally will not necessarily be sufficient to reach the last 32, especially if its goal difference takes a hit against Morocco and Brazil.

Morocco was impressive in its 1-1 draw with the Brazilians. It was the better team in the first half and had chances to open up a two-goal lead, before it backed off in the second period. If it can outperform Brazil, as it did at times on matchday one, it will back itself to dominate against Scotland. Clarke’s men will be on the back foot, especially in the opening 45 minutes.

Indeed, Morocco started the Brazil match extremely well and it will be targeting another strong spell early on today. In its two warm-up friendlies, Morocco was ahead at the interval. Meanwhile, it has scored the first goal in four consecutive games. Back Morocco to win the first half at +145 with DraftKings.

Brazil vs. Haiti

Brazil needs an improved performance in its second game today, when Haiti provides the opposition, a matchup where they are heavily favored in the latest World Cup odds.

Brazil to Win Both Halves (-120) at DraftKings

The penultimate pick in our daily World Cup team props relates to the five-time champions Brazil, which is striving to lift the trophy for the first time since 2002. It did not get its tournament off to the best of starts, however. Carlo Ancelotti’s team flattered to deceive in a 1-1 draw with Morocco, during which it was second best for long periods. A vast improvement is required if Brazil is to go all the way this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti is one of the greatest managers of all time, but he made some baffling decisions against Morocco. We will doubtless see a different starting XI today, with Matheus Cunha, Danilo and Fabinho among the contenders to come into the team. Ancelotti will also demand greater intensity from the players he picks after Brazil’s underwhelming display last time out.

Haiti pushed Scotland close in a 1-0 loss last weekend, but this match represents a significant step up. Brazil, for all its faults, is still one of the strongest national teams on the planet. If it can get out of the blocks quicker, it will dominate proceedings.

In its last meeting with an opponent from the CONCACAF region, Brazil won both halves in a 6-2 triumph over Panama. Tip it to do the same against Haiti at a price of -120 with DraftKings.

Turkey vs. Paraguay

The pressure is on Turkey and Paraguay after both teams suffered defeat last time out.

Both Teams to Score (-120) at DraftKings

Neither Turkey nor Paraguay covered itself in glory on matchday one. Turkey huffed and puffed against Australia, but despite taking 30 shots and registering 72 percent possession, it went down to a 2-0 defeat. Paraguay was outplayed, outthought and outfought by the USMNT, which administered a 4-1 thrashing to leave the South Americans bottom of Group D.

After losing their first games, Turkey and Paraguay are now under pressure to respond. A defeat here would put the losing side in a precarious position with one match left to play, but a victory would brighten the mood considerably, not least because three points might be enough to reach the round of 32.

Turkey needs to make smarter decisions today than it did against Australia, but with Kenan Yildiz fit to start in an offensive unit which also features Arda Guler, it will probably find the back of the net. Prior to the Australia match, it did so in eight consecutive contests. For its part, Paraguay has scored in each of its last six matches. Choose both teams to score at -120 with DraftKings.
