Tunisia vs. Japan

Tunisia and Japan are ready to go head-to-head today in a crunch clash in Mexico, a match that is sure to have a major impact on World Cup predictions for Group F.

Over 2.5 Goals (+108) at FanDuel

To say Tunisia’s opening game at World Cup 2026 did not go to plan would be an understatement. A 5-1 thrashing by Sweden represented a disastrous start to the summer for the North Africans, who responded by sacking manager Sabri Lamouchi. The former Saudi Arabia head coach Herve Renard has been brought in as his replacement, tasked with reviving Tunisia’s hopes of reaching the round of 32.

Japan drew 2-2 with the Netherlands on matchday one. It was an entertaining encounter, but the Samurai Blue was not at its best against Ronald Koeman’s side. It will create more chances today, but the fact Tunisia needs a positive result will hopefully produce an open game.

In five of Tunisia’s last seven matches, there have been three goals or more. Tip over 2.5 goals when Tunisia takes on Sweden at +108 with FanDuel.

Netherlands vs. Sweden

The Netherlands resume their World Cup 2026 campaign against Sweden today, a crucial matchup that will undoubtedly shake up the latest World Cup Group Stage odds.

Over 2.5 Goals (-113) at FanDuel

The Netherlands twice took the lead against Japan in its first game of the tournament, only to end up with just one point. Ronald Koeman was disappointed that his team could not hang on at 1-0 or 2-1, but the Netherlands remains the favorite to finish top of Group F. However, it will not find things easy against Sweden today.

Graham Potter’s team was excellent on matchday one, demolishing Tunisia 5-1 to rise to the summit of the standings. This Sweden side packs a real punch offensively, with Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres combining brilliantly up front against Tunisia. Those two center-forwards will give the Dutch defense plenty to worry about today.

Sweden finished bottom of their qualification group, but it was given a route into the play-offs via the UEFA Nations League and booked its spot at the tournament that way. It has looked like a different team since Potter took charge last year. Its games have become more open, as evidenced by the fact there have been at least three goals in six of its last seven matches.

Expect more of the same when Sweden takes on the Netherlands. Go for over 2.5 goals at -113 with FanDuel.

Second Half More Goals (+114) at FanDuel

After an uneventful first half, the Netherlands vs Japan exploded into life after the interval. There were no goals between minutes one and 45, and four goals between minutes 46 and 90. Sweden vs Tunisia featured the same number of goals in each half (three apiece), but the xG and shot count were higher in the second period.

Generally, more goals are scored in the second half of soccer games as the match opens up and legs and minds start to tire. This wager is therefore always worth considering, but there are particular reasons why it is a smart choice for today’s all-European clash in Houston.

Ronald Koeman, the Netherlands manager, has a tendency towards caution. He will not want his team to open up in the first 45 minutes. His first priority will be keeping the aforementioned Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres quiet.

In each of the Netherlands’ last three matches, there have been more goals after the break than before it. Select the second half to be higher-scoring at +114 with FanDuel.

Germany vs. Ivory Coast

Germany and Ivory Coast are both targeting their second victory at the World Cup today.

Kai Havertz Anytime Goalscorer (+145) at FanDuel

We now turn our attention to the World Cup player props, with the anytime goalscorer market our focus for Germany vs Ivory Coast. The winner of this match will book its place in the round of 32, so this looks set to be a fascinating encounter between the top two in Group E.

Germany demolished Curacao 7-1 in its opening game, repeating the scoreline from its famous semi-final victory over Brazil in 2014. It was level at 1-1 for almost half of the first half, but in the end it had too much firepower for the World Cup debutant. Kai Havertz struck twice for Germany and he will be the striker in Julian Nagelsmann’s system against the Ivory Coast too.

Ivory Coast’s defense is solid. It kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 victory over Ecuador and did not concede a single goal in qualifying. But Germany is a stronger side than the likes of Gabon, Kenya and Gambia, so it will create opportunities here.

Havertz has scored five goals in his last five games for club and country, so he is in fine form at present. Back the Arsenal man to score any time at +145 with FanDuel.

Ecuador vs. Curacao

Ecuador and Curacao will both be looking to bounce back from defeats on matchday one.

Ecuador to Score in Both Halves (-172) at FanDuel

We finish our latest daily World Cup team props recommendations with our preferred bet for Ecuador vs Curacao. The debutant shipped seven goals to Germany last time out, and while it is unlikely to concede that many against Ecuador, the South Americans will have some joy in forward areas.

Ecuador is a defense-first team. It conceded only five goals in the South American section of World Cup qualifying, despite playing 18 matches against opponents like Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Uruguay. Its problems lie at the other end of the pitch. Ecuador failed to score against Ivory Coast, losing 1-0 in its first match.

The positive thing for Sebastian Beccacece is that his team still fashioned opportunities against the Ivorians, hitting the woodwork twice in the first half and creating chances after the break too. And it is about to face a Curacao defense that not only shipped seven goals to Germany last time out, but previously conceded four against Scotland and five against Australia in heavy losses.

Curacao has conceded in both halves in each of its last four games, including a 2-0 defeat by China in March. Back Ecuador to score either side of half-time at -172 with FanDuel.
