FIFA World Cup Props Today: Monday, June 22 - Group Stage
A new week is upon us and our selected FIFA World Cup props will help you get through Monday. We have previewed each of today’s four matches in North America, as Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi return to action with France and Argentina respectively.
A prop bet is one which focuses on a certain aspect of a soccer match rather than one which predicts which team will win. Two popular examples are total goals and anytime goalscorer. Read on for our preferred World Cup player props and team picks for today's action at the World Cup.

Argentina vs. Austria
Argentina continues the defense of its World Cup crown against Austria today, a pivotal matchup that is sure to shake up the latest World Cup odds.
Lionel Messi to Score Anytime (+100) at DraftKings
Lionel Messi only confirmed last month that he would play at this World Cup. Algeria must wish he came to a different decision. Even by his own sky-high standards, Messi delivered a superb showing on matchday one, scoring a magnificent hat-trick to help Argentina to a 3-0 win. That result means another victory today would send the defending champion through to the round of 32 with one group game to spare.
Austria was also triumphant in its first game of the summer. Iraq matched it for the first hour, but Austria came on strong towards the end of the encounter. It will back itself to cause Argentina problems. Algeria did not test the 2022 winner enough, but Austria’s fast breaks will give Argentina something to think about.
However, Messi is the difference-maker and we expect him to find the back of the net once more. He is no longer at his peak physically, but Messi has the intelligence to find space on the field. Austria will study the videos and try to work out how to stop him, but countless other teams have tried and failed to do that in the past. Back Messi to score anytime at +100 with DraftKings.

France vs. Iraq
France is looking for its second victory of World Cup 2026 when it takes on Iraq, entering the matchup as massive favorites according to the latest World Cup Group Stage odds.
France to Win Both Halves (-140) at DraftKings
The next of our daily World Cup team props focuses on France, one of the favorites to lift the trophy this summer. It was ordinary in the first half of its opening game against Senegal, but a tactical tweak at half-time proved decisive. Didier Deschamps moved Michael Olise into the No.10 role at the interval, and France ended up winning 3-1 to take a step towards the round of 32.
There were elements of Iraq’s display against Austria that would have pleased its manager Graham Arnold, but the team was ultimately too open defensively. That bodes ill for its chances in this clash with France. Up against Kylian Mbappe, Olise, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue, Iraq will spend most of this match on the back foot.
Deschamps will demand that France get out of the blocks quickly after its sluggish start last time out. If it gets ahead in the first half, it will be hard for Iraq to find a way back. Go for France to win both halves at -140 with DraftKings.

Norway vs. Senegal
Norway takes on Senegal at MetLife Stadium in an important encounter in Group I.
Over 2.5 Goals (-110) at DraftKings
With France widely expected to win Group I, one of Norway or Senegal will almost certainly finish second. This match will probably determine which of these two sides advances automatically to the round of 32. It is advantage Norway as things stand following its 3-1 victory over Iraq last time out. Senegal is playing catch-up after that 3-1 defeat by France.
Do not rule out the African nation, though. Senegal held its own in the first half against France. It is a balanced, cohesive and well-coached team. It does not have a star operating at the same level of Norway striker Erling Haaland, but that does not mean it cannot collect all three points today.
There were over 2.5 goals in both France vs Senegal and Iraq vs Norway. On top of that, this bet has paid out in each of Norway’s last five competitive matches. Stale Solbakken’s team is better going forward than it is defensively, and the manager is happy to play to Norway’s strengths. Choose over 2.5 goals at -110 with DraftKings.

Jordan vs. Algeria
Jordan and Algeria are both looking to bounce back from defeats on matchday one.
Ibrahim Maza to Assist (+400) at DraftKings
The next of our recommended soccer player props is based on the assist market. Algeria did not create enough opportunities against Argentina. Its approach play was often promising, but it was not decisive enough in the final third. Given the caliber of the opposition, it will find things easier against Jordan.
The man who looked most likely to fashion an opportunity against Argentina was Ibrahim Maza. Algeria’s No.10 set up a ‘goal’ that was disallowed for a tight offside, and he did a good job of picking up pockets of space in between the lines.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has a bright future ahead of him. He made 1.6 key passes at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, putting him in the top 10 percent of players on that measure of creativity. Jordan’s defense is not the strongest at this tournament, with at least two goals conceded in each of its last five games. Tip Maza to register an assist at +400 with DraftKings.
