To use a betting bonus in Colorado you simply need to be at least 21 years of age and be physically located within the state.
You can actually sign up to a Colorado sportsbook and claim your bonus from another state, but to use it you need to be actually inside state lines.
Basically, all you need to do to claim a bonus is sign up with a sportsbook.
During the registration process, you may be given the chance to type in a bonus code, which will unlock your bonus. Some sportsbooks let you claim bonuses at any time after signing up, usually by entering a code or opting-in in the cashier.
There are also sportsbooks that will credit all new users with a bonus just for signing up, with no need for a bonus code.
To avoid ever missing out on a Colorado betting bonus, head over to our sportsbook reviews and sign up via the links.
Colorado has a great selection of sportsbooks, which means plenty of different types of bonuses. To get a more detailed explanation about each of them, you can check out our full guide to betting bonuses. Below you can find some of the most common types of bonuses in Colorado:
Just about every single betting bonus has some small print attached – and it can often be the difference-maker between an amazing bonus and just an amazing-sounding bonus. Investigating the terms and conditions of any bonus in full is essential. You can find more details in our full guide, but below we’ve listed some common conditions to be aware of in Colorado:
While it’s true that some bonuses are simply more valuable than others, there also aren’t really too many hard and fast rules about what makes a bonus great. This is because everyone likes to bet differently, and values different things when it comes to bonuses.
Some bonuses are only really valuable when you can invest a fairly significant sum yourself. Others might offer players some bonus cash totally free, but the limit tends to be so small that higher rollers won’t be interested.
In this section, we’ve listed three of the top bonuses you can find in Colorado, to give you a sense of the options out there. Hit up our full sportsbook reviews for more info.

BetRivers kicks things off with a 100% deposit bonus, worth up to $250. Whatever your first deposit, the sportsbook will match it with bonus cash. If you deposit more than $250, you still receive $250 in bonus cash.
The gambling requirements are very reasonable too – you just need to bet all your bonus cash once to unlock it.
We’re big fans of this bonus from BetRivers, which is perfect for both low and mid to high-stakes players.

Colorado sports betting kicked in at a pretty crazy time. In May 2020 the US was still reeling from coronavirus restrictions, all the major sports leagues were canceled, and Colorado residents didn’t exactly have a full menu to bet on.
Sportsbooks weren’t deterred though. By the end of the summer, at least seven sportsbooks had launched in the state, with just about double that expected to join them over the rest of 2020 and into 2021. US sites like FanDuel and DraftKings are already up and running, along with some platforms designed by local casinos. Huge names from European betting, including bet365 and Caesars Sportsbook, are expected to launch before too long. The future is bright in Colorado.
