London Royal Ravens
Boston Breach, currently in 4th place on the Call of Duty League standings, will be facing London Royal Ravens, currently in 3rd place on the Call of Duty League standings on 20 May 2022. Boston Breach have played 18 games and collected 120 points in the league so far, winning 10 and coming short in eight. The London Royal Ravens have played one less with 17 and collected 130 points so far, winning 11 and coming short in six.
The two teams are currently playing the Major 3 – Qualifiers. Boston Breach lost their last match to the New York Subliners 3-1, whereas the London Royal Ravens won their last match against the Paris Legion 3-2.
Boston Breach head into this tie as favorites despite their lower standing on the table. They have an impressive record on Hardpoint (23 wins and 19 losses) and Search and Destroy (19 wins and 14 losses) game modes but have a poor record on Control (nine wins and 15 losses).
TJHaLy is the most devastating member of their team with the highest kills per 10 minutes rate on Hardpoint (23.6) and Control (18.9). On Search and Destroy, their strongest member is Capsidal with 0.71 kills per round.
London Royal Ravens have only got a positive record on Hardpoint with 21 wins and 18 losses. They’ve won 13 and lost 14 of their games on Search and Destroy and also suffered similarly on Control with 10 wins and 13 losses.
Gismo is their most deadly member on Hardpoint and Search and Destroy with 24 kills per 10 minutes on the former and 0.71 kills per round on the latter. Afro is their strongest member on Control with 19.9 kills per 10 minutes.
The London Royal Ravens will be optimistic about their chances against the Boston Breach on Hardpoint, where there isn’t much between the sides. Less so on Search and Destroy where Boston Breach’s record is significantly better.
Despite having a negative record on Control, the London Royal Ravens have it much better than Boston Breach and they should capitalize on this. This tie is a lot more even than it seems and could go either way. There’s good value in pinning your hopes on the London Royal Ravens.
Minnesota ROKKR, currently in 10th place on the Call of Duty League standings, will be facing Toronto Ultra, currently in 9th place on the Call of Duty League standings on 20 May 2022. Minnesota ROKKR have played 13 games and collected 50 points in the league so far, winning five but losing in eight. They’ll want to up that in the coming games and so will Toronto Ultra, who have played one less with 17 and collected 60 points so far, winning 11 and losing six.
The two teams are also currently playing the Major 3 – Qualifiers. Minnesota ROKKR have won their two matches against the Los Angeles sides, whereas the Toronto Ultra have only played one but also won that: against Seattle Surge 3-2.
Toronto Ultra head into this match as favorites, reflecting their standing on the table. Toronto Ultra have an impressive record on two of the game modes: Search and Destroy and Control. They have won 19 and lost 13 of their matches on the former and won 14 and lost 10 of their matches on the latter.
CleanX is the strongest member of their team on all three game modes with 26.6 kills per 10 minutes on Hardpoint, 20.2 on Control and 0.76 kills per round on Search and Destroy.
Minnesota ROKKR have only got an impressive record on Search and Destroy with 15 wins and nine losses on the game mode. They have an extremely poor record on Hardpoint, with 10 wins and 21 losses and a manageable record on Control with eight wins and 11 losses.
Standy is their strongest member on Search and Destroy and Control, with 0.82 kills per round in the former and 19 kills per 10 minutes on the latter. Attach is their strongest member on the Hardpoint game mode with 23 kills per 10 minutes.
With neither of them having a good record on Hardpoint, a match-up on that game mode should cancel each other out and the same can be said for a match on the Search and Destroy game mode, where they’re both quite good. Control might be the decisive game mode, with Toronto Ultra having the better record. Toronto Ultra seem like a safe bet, all things considered.
Florida Mutineers, currently in 7th place on the Call of Duty League standings, will be facing Los Angeles Guerillas, currently in 5th place on the Call of Duty League standings on 20 May 2022. Florida Mutineers have played 15 games and collected 70 points in the league so far, winning six but losing nine.
The Los Angeles Guerillas have had it much better, who have played 19 matches so far and collected 115 points in that time, winning 11 and coming short eight times.
The two teams are also currently playing the Major 3 – Qualifiers. Florida Mutineers have lost their only match in the tournament so far, whereas the Los Angeles Guerillas have played twice and lost on both occasions. They’ll be wanting to put that right soon and it seems to have affected their odds with Florida Mutineers heading into this as heavy favorites.
Florida Mutineers have a positive record on Hardpoint and Control, recording 19 wins and 15 losses in the former and 12 wins and 10 losses in the latter. They have a poor record on Search and Destroy with 10 wins and 16 losses.
Owakening is the strongest member of the group in two of the maps: Hardpoint and Control. He averages 26.3 kills per minute on the former and 20.3 in the latter. Skyz is the deadliest on Search and Destroy with 0.81 kills per round.
Los Angeles Guerillas don’t have a positive record on any of the game modes. They’ve won 18 and lost 18 on Search and Destroy, won 19 and lost 21 on Hardpoint and won just nine and lost 17 on Control. They’ll need Asim to do some heavy lifting on Hardpoint on Control, where he averages 24.4 kills per round on the former and 20.1 on the latter. They’ll need SlasheR and Spart to do the same on Search and Destroy, with both averaging 0.73 kills per round on the game mode.
Los Angeles Guerillas’ poor record on multiple maps and recent history suggests that this is Florida Mutineers’ game to lose despite the lower ranking. The Los Guerillas would be the more valuable bet but they don’t seem reliable.
