Seattle Surge vs London Royal Ravens Predictions

Seattle Surge, ranked 8th in the Call of Duty League standings with 70 points, will be facing London Royal Ravens, who are a lot higher up in the Call of Duty League standings at 3rd place and with 130 points on 29 May, 2022. Seattle Surge have played 15 league matches so far this season and come out on top on six occasions. The London Royal Ravens have been far better, winning 11 of the 17 games that they’ve competed in so far.

The two teams are currently playing the Major 3 – Qualifiers, with Seattle Surge doing quite well for themselves with two wins out of three. This hasn’t been the case for London Royal Ravens, who have lost two of their three games.

Seattle Surge don’t have a great record on any game mode but they do have a positive record on Search and Destroy, which hasn’t been a great game mode for the London Royal Ravens. Seattle Surge have got 18 wins and 14 losses here, whereas London Royal Ravens have won 13 and lost 15 here. The former averages 2.72 kills per round, 42.2% first blood rate, 0.95 overall KD, 2.87 deaths per round in 31 matches. Their main man on this game mode and all other maps is Pred. He averages 0.72 kills per round on this game mode with an overall KD of 0.99.

London Royal Ravens have also not got a great record on Control with 12 wins and 13 losses. Their record on Hardpoint is better, however, with 22 wins and 19 losses. They’ll be looking to leverage this against their opponent on Sunday. Afro is their most deadly member on all three maps. He averages 23.3 kills per 10 minutes on Hardpoint with a KD of 1.04, 0.73 kills per round with a KD of 1.02 on Search and Destroy and 19.6 kills per minute and 1.07 KD on Control.

Both sides are quite dependent on one man hitting form. Despite Seattle Surge’s lower ranking, they’re in form and could cause an upset because of London Royal Ravens’ struggles on two maps. Seattle Surge are also in better form. London Royal Ravens are the favorites heading into this match but there’s good value in taking a punt on Seattle Surge.

Florida Mutineers vs Boston Breach Predictions

Florida Mutineers, currently in 7th place on the Call of Duty League standings, will be facing Boston Breach, currently in 4th place on the Call of Duty League standings on 29 May 2022. Florida Mutineers have played 15 games and collected 70 points in the league so far, winning six but coming short in nine. The Boston Breach have done much better in the 18 matches they’ve played so far, collecting 120 points in that time, winning 10 and coming short eight times.

The two of them are also currently participating in the Major 3 – Qualifiers. Both sides have lost two of their three matches in the tournament so far. They’ll both want to put that right as soon as possible.

Both sides have an impressive record on Hardpoint. The Florida Mutineers have recorded 22 wins and 16 losses on the game mode, whereas the Boston Breach have got 24 wins and 21 losses. Florida Mutineers have a poor record on Search and Destroy with 10 wins and 18 losses, which is not something they share in common with the Boston Breach. The latter have recorded 20 wins and 15 losses on this map so far. Florida Mutineers have it better on Control with 12 wins and 10 losses, whereas the Boston Breach have really struggled here with just 10 wins and 16 losses.

Florida Mutineers’ star man is Owakening. He averages 26.1 kills per 10 minutes on Hardpoint with a KD of 1.16 and 20.4 kills per 10 minutes on Control with a KD of 1.18. Boston Breach’s don’t have a key player for all modes. It’s Nero for Hardpoint with 25 kills per 10 minutes and KD of 0.94, Capsidal for Search and Destroy with 0.79 kills per round and KD of 1.15 and TJHaLy for Control with 18.9 kills per 10 minutes and a KD of 0.96.

The two sides will likely cancel each other out on the Search and Destroy and Control game modes. It’s likely going to come down to who does better on Hardpoint and the Florida Mutineers will be fancying their chances if it comes down to that. Boston Breach head into this tie as favorites because of their superior ranking and pedigree but there’s a lot of value in picking Florida Mutineers in this one because they really have a chance to get something here if they’re on their A-game. This is tighter than the odds suggest.

OpTic Texas vs Los Angeles Thieves Predictions

OpTic Texas, currently in 2nd place in the Call of Duty League standings, will be facing the Los Angeles Thieves, who are in a respectable 6th place in the Call of Duty League standings on 29 May, 2022.

OpTic Texas might be second in the rankings but there are many reasons to believe that they are best team in the league. They have 165 points on the table, which puts them behind Atlanta FaZe with 180 but they’ve played fewer matches. They have a higher match win rate the table toppers and also a higher game win rate.

More recently, they beat Atlanta FaZe 3-1 in the Major 3 – Qualifiers. Prior to that they easily disposed of Florida Mutineers and Los Angeles Guerillas by a score of 3-0. This is the most dominant team on the circuit at this moment in time. However, their last loss in the Call of Duty League circuit was against their upcoming opponents and they fell short 3-1. The Los Angeles Thieves have contested in some tight matches against OpTic Texas in recent times and will not be fearful of them.

However, the Los Angeles Thieves have been on a poor run, having lost their last two matches in the Major 3- qualifiers. If there’s any match where they’ve got to be up for it, it’s this one.

Los Angeles Thieves have been in patch form all season. They’ve played 16 matches so far this season and come out on top seven times so far with 70 points on board. The Los Angeles Thieves will be hoping to play one of the rounds on the Hardpoint game mode, where they have an exceptional record with 32 wins and 17 losses. They average 95.8 kills per 10 minutes, 0.98 overall KD, 194.1 engagements, 98.3 deaths per minutes in 48 matches on this mode. Key to that has been team member Envoy with 24.9 kills per 10 minutes.

Their record on Search and Destroy and Control isn’t comparable with 14 wins and 23 losses on the former and 13 wins and 15 losses on the latter.

OpTic Texas have an impeccable record on every game mode. They’ve got 26 wins and 18 losses on Hardpoint, 20 wins and 15 losses on Search and Destroy and 23 wins and five losses on Control. OpTic Texas will be dependent on Shotzzy for Hardpoint and Search and Destroy.

He averages 25.4 kills per 10 minutes with a KD of 1.05 on the former and 0.81 kills per round and 1.16 KD on the latter. On Control, they’ll need Scump to be on his best game, who averages 19.3 kills per 10 minutes with an impressive KD ratio of 1.15 on the game mode.

OpTic Texas is the safe bet and there’d be almost no chance of making case for the Los Angeles Thieves if they hadn’t won in the previous meeting between the two sides. The Los Angeles Thieves do feel like a bogey side for OpTic Texas though and if there’s a lot of money to waste, it won’t be the worst idea to take a big punt on Los Angeles Thieves.
