Vitality have recently claimed the #1 spot in the HLTV ranking and will be looking for a tournament win in Rio to finally add a major trophy to Zywoo’s cabinet.

Zywoo is the star player on Vitality, and is also the AWPer for the team. He has a 1.36 HLTV rating, a 0.57 DPR, a 78% KAST score, a 1.44 impact rating, 86 ADR and a 0.86 KPR. Zywoo is able to find AWP picks that virtually nobody else can find. He is able to find the majority of the opening picks for Vitality with 22% of the opening kill attempts at a 66% success rate.

Imperial Striving For A Good Result At Their First Home Major

Fallen showed up at the NA RMR and was a big part of the reason why Imperial made it to the major. He has a 1.15 HLTV rating, a 0.57 DPR and a 74% KAST percent. Fallen is also tasked with finding some advantages for the team, and he attempts to find the opening kill 20% of the time at a 62% win rate.

Overpass is one of the team’s strongholds, and Imperial has an impressive 89% win rate on the map. Imperial are able to dominate on both sides, with a 60% CT side win rate and a 54% T side win rate.

Cloud9 Aiming To Bounce Back After A Disappointing RMR

Cloud9 were able to qualify for the Rio Major after a 3-1 record in the Swiss stage, but the CIS team were not able to take down Spirit and were then knocked down to the Challengers Stage.

The star player on Cloud9 is their AWPer Sh1ro, and he has been on a good run of form lately. He has a 1.17 HLTV rating, a 0.55 DPR and a 74% KAST score. He is also able to find opening picks for the team 60% of the time and is one of the main players Cloud9 turn to in difficult spots.

Fnatic Looking For A Good Result

Fnatic barely managed to squeak into the major, after a 3-2 Swiss stage in the EU RMR B.

The top performer on Fnatic has been Nicoodoz, the team’s AWPer. He has a 1.09 HLTV rating, a 0.6 DPR, and a 72% KAST score. Nicoodoz is quite good at navigating late-round situations and has a 70% win rate in 1vX situations.

Fnatic’s best map as of late has been Overpass where they have an 88% win rate. They have a fantastic CT side on the map and are able to win 69% of their defensive rounds. Their T side is also quite good and they have a 58% win rate on their attacking side.

EG Looking To Continue Their Good Run Of Form

EG looked quite convincing at the NA RMR and the team seemed to have come together to find their identity. They finished the group stage 3-0 but lost the tiebreaker to Liquid which moved them into the Challengers stage.

The standout player on EG has been Automatic. He has a 1.15 HLTV rating, a 0.67 DPR, a 72% KAST score, a 1.17 impact rating, an 83 ADR and a 77 KPR. He has been instrumental to their late round success, and has an impressive 88% win rate in 1vX situations, and is able to close out important rounds for the team.

EG’s best map is Mirage where they have a 75% win rate in the past three months.

IHC Aiming To Upset The Heavyweights

IHC are the #1 seed from the Asia Pacific RMR, and they managed to defeat Greyhound to claim the top spot out of Asia. The standout player on IHC is their rifler Sk0R, and he has a 1.22 HLTV rating, a 0.65 DPR, 73% KAST, a 1.27 impact rating, 85 ADR, and 0.82 KPR. The main entry fragger for the team is their AWPer Annihilation, and he has a 68% success rate while looking for the opening pick.

IHC’s best map is Nuke, where they are currently undefeated and on a 10-0 run. They have an insane 73% CT round win percent and a 71% T round win percent and completely dominate opponents on Nuke.
