FURIA Academy vs Astralis Talent Predictions

FURIA Academy from Brazil, ranked 138th in the world, will be facing Astralis Talent from Denmark, ranked 62nd in the world, in Group B of the WePlay Academy League Season 4 on 3 June, 2022, in a best of one match.

The two sides faced each other recently for the very first time on the Overpass map. It was a tight game with FURIA coming on top 16-13. Astralis Talent will want to exact revenge soon.

FURIA Academy Have Been in Excellent Form

FURIA Academy head into this match with five wins in their last six games, including the one against Astralis Talent, which was mentioned earlier. They’ve had to really battle in these games to come out on top, winning by scores of 16-13, 19-17 and 16-13 in some of them.

They’ll be hoping to face their upcoming opponent on the Overpass map once again, where they have an 80% win rate in recent months. Their record on other maps isn’t over 50% and Astralis Talent will be well aware of this.

To help them win this match, 19-year-old Kauez will be key. He has averaged 0.71 kills per round, 0.69 deaths per round, had a KAST of 70.7% and dealt 76.1 damage per round in the last three months. He has an all-time KD ratio of 1.02.

Astralis Talent Will Hope for a Match on Ancient

Astralis Talent will want to put the disappointment of their loss against FURIA Academy behind them as soon as possible. They head into this match on the back of a loss to BIG Academy but have won four of their last six, which is fairly decent.

They will be hoping to face FURIA Academy on Ancient, where they’ve got an 88% record in recent months in eight games. Their record on Vertigo isn’t too bad either with a 78%. Either of them will do. Their star-man is Fessor, who has averaged 0.72 kills per round, 0.71 deaths per round, had a KAST of 66.8% and dealt 81.4 damage per round in the last three months. He has an all-time KD ratio of 1.

We think FURIA Academy’s recent win and form heading into the tie gives them the edge.

NAVI Junior from Ukraine, ranked 1588th in the world, will be facing Apeks Rebels from Norway, ranked 160th in the world, in Group B of the WePlay Academy League Season 4 on 3 June, 2022, in a best of one match.

The two sides also met each other recently for the very first time on the Vertigo map. NAVI Junior came out on top with a score of 16-12.

NAVI Junior Last Win Was Against Their Upcoming Opponent

NAVI Junior are a fairly new side in the CS: GO circuit and their only win has come against Apeks Rebels. There is little to no data on them. Since the match against Apeks Rebels, they’ve lost four matches. Three of them were quite tight but their last match against BIG Academy ended pretty badly, losing by a score of 16-4.

Their key player so far has been 21-year-old fear. He has averaged 0.78 kills per round, 0.71 deaths per round, had a KAST of 71% and dealt 90.8 damage per round, which is quite impressive. He has an all-time KD ratio of 0.92.

Apeks Rebels Haven’t Done Much of Note Recently

Apeks Rebels beat FURIA Academy recently by a score of 16-13 but have lost six games since. These two sides aren’t very good at the moment and have a lot to improve. Some of the losses have been heavy like the 16-1 loss to Astralis Talent and 16-5 to BIG Academy. That’s unlikely to be the case in this game but they have to do more to not get the reputation of a serial loser.

Key to changing their fortunes will be 23-year-old vhw. He has averaged 0.64 kills per round, 0.64 deaths per round, had a KAST of 70% and dealt 72 damage per round. He has an all-time KD ratio of 0.99. We think NAVI Junior have the slightly better record and think they’ll beat Apeks Rebels once again.

PROSPECTS vs fnatic Rising Predictions

PROSPECTS, ranked 95th in the world, will be facing fnatic Rising, ranked 85th in the world, in Group A of the WePlay Academy League Season 4 on 3 June, 2022, in a best of one match.

The two sides have had one meeting so far with PROSPECTS coming out on top with a score of 16-10. The match was played on the Ancient map.

PROSPECTS Have Been in Patchy Form

PROSPECTS have won three of their last six matches. They’ll win to go on a little run, which was the case a week ago. They won their last match 16-14 against Spirit Academy, which should help them a little heading into this match. They’ll be hoping that the match takes place on Vertigo, where they have an 86% win rate in recent months. If not Vertigo, they’ll not mind Dust2, Mirage or Nuke.

Key to their fortunes will be 21-year-old adeX. He has averaged 0.76 kills per round, 0.68 deaths per round, had a KAST of 68.1% and dealt 78.1 damage per round in the last three months. He had a highly impressive all-time KD ratio of 1.14.

Fnatic Rising Are on a Two-Game Winning Streak

Fnatic Rising have found some form in recent weeks, beating OG Academy and Eternal Fire Academy in their last two games. They’ll want to make it three in a row and improve on their previous match against PROSPECTS. They’ll also be hoping to face them on Inferno map where they’ve got a 100% record compared to PROSPECT’s 33%.

If they don’t play the match on Inferno, they’ll be hoping that 19-year-old Regali can come through for them. He has some impressive stats in the last three months, averaging 0.83 kills per round, 0.59 deaths per round, had a KAST of 75.5% and dealt 78.2 damager per round.

He also has an incredible all-time KD Ratio of 1.21. With him in the side anything is possible but we think PROSPECTS recent win should make them favorites in this tie.

Spirit Academy vs mouz NXT Pick

Spirit Academy vs mouz NXT Predictions

Spirit Academy, ranked 134th in the world, will be facing mouz NXT, ranked 68th in the world, in Group A of the WePlay Academy League Season 4 on 3 June, 2022, in a best of one match.

The two sides have faced each other three times so far with mouz NXT coming out victorious twice. Their most recent meeting was on the Nuke map with mouz NXT comfortably winning the match 16-6. The two also met each other in January this year, both times on Mirage. The two won a game apiece and quite comfortably. It’s going to be hard to call this one.

Spirit Academy Just Lost Their Three-Game Winning Streak

Spirit Academy recently lost their three-game winning streak after falling short against PROSPECTS. Prior to that they were on a nice little run but had to fight hard for them, winning 16-13, 22-19 and 16-14 on the way.

There isn’t a lot of map information available on them but their record on Nuke and Mirage isn’t great. It’s 33% on both and they’ll probably be hoping they don’t have to face mouz NXT on these maps once again.

To win this match, they’ll need ArtFr0st at his best. He has averaged 0.72 kills per round, 0.61 deaths per round, had a KAST of 69.7% and dealt 73.9 damage per round in the last three months. He also has an impressive all-time KD ratio of 1.18.

Mouz NXT Are on a Good Run

Mouz NXT have won their last three matches and will want to make it four in a row against opponents they’ve had some success against in the past. Prior to the loss to OG Academy, they were on a six-game winning run as well.

They also have a record of 50% or over on five of the maps. It’s hard to make any case for Spirit Academy heading into this match and 20-year-old mhL is a big factor. He has an all-time KD ratio of 1.20 and averaged 0.75 kills per round, 0.64 deaths per round, had a KAST of 71.6% and dealt 78.6 damage per round. Mouz NXT should win this match if all things are equal.
