After a lackluster start to the season, Braves slugger Matt Olson is finally heating up. He’s raised his average from .219 to .240 over the last week and has hit three home runs over his previous four games. We’ll share why we love his chances to go deep tonight, as well as two other home run props we love.
The odds we use for our home run bets are taken from Caesars Sportsbook. If you’d like to try Caesars, use promo code WSNDYW to claim a “Bet $1, Get Ten 100% Profit Boost Tokens” offer.

After being an offensive liability over the first month of the season, Taylor Ward is turning things around in a big way. He has hit four home runs over the last week as his average has rocketed back above the Mendoza Line (.200). His hot streak has taken place during a long road trip, meaning starting in Sacramento tonight won’t slow him down.
A’s starter Luis Severino (1-4, 4.22 ERA, 1.27 WHIP) hasn’t given up many home runs but has been struggling in May. Given Ward’s hot bat, all it will take is one mistake for the Angels’ outfielder to send a pitch into the stands. Once Severino exits, he’ll turn things over to an A’s bullpen, one of the league’s worst in 2025.

The Braves’ first baseman has found his power stroke in a big way over the last few days. He’s gone deep three times over his previous four games. The slugger was off yesterday, meaning he’ll be heading into Washington well-rested and ready to go.
The Nationals will have MacKenzie Gore (2-4, 3.67 ERA, 1.30 WHIP) starting tonight. He has been worse than his 4.11 ERA in May indicates. He has gotten bailed out of a lot of trouble, posting a brutal 1.83 WHIP. That will be a big problem against the red-hot Olson tonight.
The All-Star has not gone deep against Gore in the past, but he owns a .294 average against the young pitcher.

The Red Sox outfielder is batting .348 over the last week, going deep twice. While his power was absent until recently, it seems the 28-year-old has found his stroke.
The biggest reason we love this bet is Orioles starter Cade Povich (1-3, 5.23 ERA, 1.45 WHIP). While Duran doesn’t usually hit lefties well, he’ll face a struggling one on the mound tonight. The 25-year-old doesn’t look much improved from his rough rookie campaign as he struggles to miss bats.
Povich will make some mistakes tonight, and we are betting that Duran's hot bat will send at least one over the outfield wall.
