Best MLB Home Run Props Today June 24

On Monday, three of our four targets went deep, which is always a good way to start the week. We’re hoping for more of the same on Tuesday, as we switch things up a bit and target players who aren’t necessarily the most obvious home run threats.

For Tuesday, we’ve gotten our odds from Fanduel Sportsbook. New FanDuel users can get $150 in bonus bets by signing up and then winning their first bet. Meanwhile, every FanDuel user can claim the Dinger Tuesday promo to receive a 50% profit boost on any home run prop.

Home Run Picks for Tuesday, June 24

Cal Raleigh to Hit a Home Run (+210) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Raleigh homered yesterday, making it four straight games with a home run, with six homers in his last six games for the current MLB home run leader. Why not bet on him to keep it going? The streak has to end at some point, but with 12 total hits in his last six games, Raleigh is too hot right now.

If it helps, Raleigh has a previous home run against Chris Paddack, who starts for the Twins on Tuesday. Paddack has had a tough year, posting a 4.48 ERA, including a 5.87 ERA in June. He’s also given up at least one home run in his last four starts, so he’ll be vulnerable against a red-hot Raleigh.

Max Muncy to Hit a Home Run (+330) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Dodgers are playing at Coors Field this week, and they’ll face German Marquez on Tuesday. Marquez owns a 6.11 ERA and gave up three home runs the last time he started at home. That makes any member of the Dodgers a viable target for a home run prop.

We chose Muncy because he has a proven history of going deep against German. In 32 career at-bats against German, Muncy has just seven hits, but four have been home runs. Muncy is also coming off a two-homer game on Sunday, so he’s feeling confident, giving him a good chance to take Marquez again.

Byron Buxton to Hit a Home Run (+350) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Buxton leads the Twins in home runs with 17. It’s not enough to put him among the MLB leaders, but it’s an impressive total nonetheless. He also has two multi-homer games in the last week and six total homers over his last seven games. That makes Buxton a good player to target while he’s red-hot.

On Tuesday, Buxton and the Twins face Luis Castillo, who has given up multiple home runs in three consecutive starts. He’s pitched well otherwise, but can’t stop giving up home runs. Even though Buxton has just two career at-bats against Castillo, this is a favorable matchup for him after the power he’s shown over the past week.

Alec Burleson to Hit a Home Run (+470) at FanDuel Sportsbook

With Jameson Taillon starting for the Cubs, it’d be foolish not to target at least one member of the Cardinals to hit a home run. Taillon is among the MLB leaders in home runs allowed with 18. He also gave up two in his last start in just two innings of work.

The Cardinals have some good home run hitters, but we chose Burleson, who has an excellent track record against Taillon, going 6 for 15 with two home runs. On the season, Burleson has just nine total home runs. But he also has four homers in his last seven games. Plus, he has at least one hit in 10 of his last 11 games, so he’s in a groove and well-positioned to take advantage of Taillon’s propensity for giving up home runs.
