Best MLB Home Run Props Today: Finding Value from Unexpected Sources
Monday’s home run props are a mixture of obvious candidates and players you might not view as obvious targets for a home run prop. However, we found capable home run hitters who have favorable matchups on Monday against pitchers who are vulnerable to the long ball. Of course, we balanced that out with a couple of familiar names.

Home Run Picks for Monday, August 11
Aaron Judge Anytime Home Run (+162) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Judge is yet to hit a home run since his return from the IL. But he’s got to be due to go deep at some point. Judge has been back for five games, and he has a hit in three of his last four games, so he seems to be settling in after the time off.
Monday gives Judge and the Yankees a favorable matchup against Minnesota’s Zebby Matthews. While Ryan McMahon is the only Yankee who has faced Matthews before, he owns a 5.17 ERA on the season. He’s also returning from the IL, so if he’s rusty, Matthews could easily make a mistake to Judge that goes over the wall.

Junior Caminero Anytime Home Run (+265) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Caminero is up to 32 home runs on the season, making him sixth in the big leagues. Not bad for a 22-year-old who has five home runs in August and four in his last four games. Caminero is also 7 for 16 overall in his last four games, giving us every reason to bet on the hot hand.
Plus, Caminero and the Rays face lefty Jeffrey Springs on Monday. Despite winning 10 games and having a 3.89 ERA, Springs has allowed 22 home runs, which is among the most in the majors this season. Not surprisingly, 19 of those 22 home runs have come against right-handed hitters, while Caminero leads the Rays in homers against lefties this season, making him an obvious target.

Josh Bell Anytime Home Run (+600) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Bell is easy to overlook as a home run target, but not on Monday. His career numbers against Kansas City’s Bailey Falter can’t be ignored. He’s 5 for 9 with a double and two home runs in his career against Failter. Even if that’s a small sample size, Bell’s success can’t be ignored.
Bell has a modest 14 home runs on the season, but he still has the power to go deep if he gets a favorable matchup. Equally important, Bell is 6 for 9 with two doubles and a home run over his last three games. He’s suddenly red-hot, while Falter has allowed nine home runs over his last six starts, so all the stars are aligned for Bell to homer on Monday.

Andrew Benintendi Anytime Home Run (+450) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Benintendi is another player who’s easy to overlook for home run targets. But he has a respectable 14 homers for the lowly White Sox this season. Most of those home runs have come at home, where Benintendi’s numbers are noticeably better than on the road.
Naturally, the White Sox are home on Monday and will face Detroit’s Chris Paddack. Benintendi is 4 for 10 with a home run in his career against Paddack, so he’s had past success against a pitcher with a 4.91 ERA this year. With 19 home runs allowed on the season, including six over his last five starts, Paddack looks vulnerable on Monday, especially against someone like Benintendi.
