Home Run Picks for Tuesday, August 19
Shohei Ohtani Anytime Home Run (+106) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Admittedly, we missed on Ohtani hitting a home run on Monday. But he and the Dodgers are still at Coors Field. Ohtani also had two hits on Monday, so he’s still in a good groove. Plus, after five straight games without a home run, Ohtani is due for one on Tuesday.
Equally important, Ohtani has another favorable matchup against Gomber. He’s 4 for 13 with two home runs against Gomber. Gomber has also allowed six home runs across 16 innings of work in August, so he’s vulnerable. Left-handed hitters also have a better slugging percentage against Gomber, which plays into Ohtani’s favor.

Aaron Judge Anytime Home Run (+215) at FanDuel Sportsbook
It looks like Judge is finally settling in after his stint on the IL. Even with just four total hits in his last five games, he’s drawn five walks during that span, so he’s seeing the ball well. Also, two of those four hits have been home runs, meaning his power his coming back.
On Tuesday, Judge and the Yankees play in their spring training stadium in Tampa, which should make him comfortable. He’s also 3 for 8 with a home run in his career against Tampa’s Shane Baz, who gets the start for the Rays. Like most of Tampa’s starters, Baz has been more vulnerable at home this season, pitching to a 6.54 ERA. Plus, 13 of the 21 home runs Baz has allowed have come at home, giving him a tough task against Judge.

Yandy Diaz Anytime Home Run (+360) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Due to the hitter-friendly dimensions in Tampa, we’re going to target two home run hitters from this game. Diaz has 20 home runs this season, with 16 of them coming at home. That tells you a lot about how power hitters have fared in Tampa this season. Also, Diaz is slugging .548 against lefties but just .430 against righties, so facing Carlos Rodon works in his favor.
Diaz is 4 for 13 with a home run in his career against Rodon, so he’s got a solid track record against the lefty. Also, despite his 3.25 ERA, Rodon has allowed 19 home runs this season. Fittingly, right-handed hitters are responsible for 15 of those, which points to Diaz as a likely target.

Corbin Carroll Anytime Home Run (+390) at FanDuel Sportsbook
With 22 home runs allowed this season, Cleveland’s Tanner Bibee has been among the most vulnerable pitchers to the long ball in 2025. He’s been a little better lately, although he’s struggled the most on the road. Of those 22 home runs, 17 have come on the road. A slight majority have been hit by left-handed batters, which leads us to Carroll.
Granted, Carroll has just three career at-bats against Bibee, so there isn't much of a track record. But Carroll already has six home runs in August, as well as a six-game hitting streak. That makes him a good candidate to go deep against a homer-prone pitcher like Bibee.
