Even with a full schedule, we had to go digging for some of the second and third-tier sluggers. Luckily, we found a few hitters with good matchups and great value for home run props on Tuesday.

Home Run Picks for Tuesday, September 16
Salvador Perez Anytime Home Run (+420) at FanDuel Sportsbook
At 35, Perez remains a consistent home run threat, mashing 28 homers thus far in 2025. He’s also poised to finish the season strong, already hitting five home runs in September, including three homers in his last two games. A lot of his homers have come in bunches this season, so even after an off day on Monday, Perez is a good home run candidate on Tuesday.
Seattle’s Logan Gilbert is a good matchup for Perez. He’s 6 for 16 with two home runs in his career against Gilbert, which is better than most hitters have fared. Surprisingly, Gilbert has allowed at least one homer in six of his last seven starts and has struggled more against righties than lefties, which also points to Perez as the best option.

Jackson Chourio Anytime Home Run (+400) at FanDuel Sportsbook
On Tuesday, Chourio and the Brewers face 21-year-old Caden Dana, who’s pitched like a youngster who’s over his head in the big leagues. He owns a 6.32 ERA while giving up four home runs in just 15.2 innings this season. In three of his four starts, Dana has allowed multiple home runs, which is why we had to include someone on the Brewers among Tuesday’s targets.
We decided on Chourio, who has hit 14 of his 20 home runs against right-handed pitchers this year. Also, until going hitless on Sunday, Chourio had a six-game hitting streak that included two home runs and three multi-hit games. With a favorable matchup, Chourio should get back on track quickly and could get back on track quickly.

Trevor Story Anytime Home Run (+460) at FanDuel Sportsbook
With 28 home runs allowed, Jeffrey Springs is a frequent victim of the long ball. In his last 15 starts, he’s allowed at least one home run 13 times. Someone on the Red Sox has to be targeted, and since 25 of those 28 home runs have been hit by right-handed hitters, Story sticks out as the best option.
Even in a small sample, Story is 3 for 8 with a home run in his career against Springs. He’s also batting .319 with a couple of home runs in September. Given the matchup, it’s best to target Boston’s best power hitter on Tuesday.
