Best MLB Home Run Props Today: Cal Raleigh Leads Wednesday’s Home Run Targets
This late in the season, it’s sometimes better to be obvious than clever when it comes to home run props. On Wednesday, three of our four targets have already hit at least 30 home runs this season. That includes the presumptive home run king, Cal Raleigh, as we’re sticking with some safe options on Wednesday.

Home Run Picks for Wednesday, September 24
Cal Raleigh Anytime Home Run (+200) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Raleigh is close to being crowned this year’s home run king, and he’s also trying to help the Mariners win a division title, so he’ll be motivated to be his best. He’s also hit two homers in his last three games and five in his last eight games. With eight total home runs in September, getting +200 odds on Raleigh is a good deal.
You also couldn’t ask for a better matchup on Wednesday with Colorado’s Tanner Gordon. On top of his 6.00 ERA, Gordon has allowed 13 home runs in just 72 innings this year. That includes six home runs across just 15.2 innings in September, which helps make Raleigh and the other sluggers in Seattle’s lineup a good home run target.

Jarren Duran Anytime Home Run (+450) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Duran and the Red Sox are facing 41-year-old Max Scherzer on Wednesday. Scherzer didn’t get out of the first inning in his last start, as the future Hall of Famer looks gassed. Equally important, Scherzer is still prone to the long ball, giving up 15 home runs over his last 12 starts.
Admittedly, Duran has just three career at-bats against Scherzer, although one of those hits was a homer. Even with just 16 home runs on the season, he’s hit most of those against right-handed pitchers. Against a vulnerable pitcher like Scherzer, Duran is Boston’s best option to go deep on Wednesday.

Rafael Devers Anytime Home Run (+390) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Against all odds, Devers still has a chance to lead the Giants to the playoffs. Despite some losses recently, Devers is doing his part, hitting two home runs in his last four games. Even with a .185 average in September, his 33 home runs on the season make Devers a home run threat on any given day.
Surprisingly, facing Sonny Gray on Wednesday could work in his favor. Devers is 5 for 18 with a home run in his career against Gray. Keep in mind that Gray has already given up 24 home runs this season, so he’s been prone to the long ball, giving Devers a good chance to take him deep.

Brandon Lowe Anytime Home Run (+350) at FanDuel Sportsbook
Baltimore’s Tyler Wells has made three starts late in the season after missing most of the year. Despite a 2.04 ERA across those three starts, he’s allowed a home run in each of those starts. All three homers have been hit by left-handed batters, making Lowe the best option among Tampa’s power hitters to go deep.
Lowe is also 2 for 8 with a home run in his career against Wells, which is a good sign. Lowe also has 30 home runs on the season, including two in his last five games after a power drought during the first half of September. With at least one hit in seven of his last nine games, Lowe is in a nice groove at the moment and in a good position to hit a home run.
