Best MLB Home Run Props Today: Can Seattle Solve Skubal?
Friday’s lone MLB playoff game is a great one as the Detroit Tigers head to Seattle for an elimination game against the AL West Champion Mariners. The ace is the best pitcher in baseball, but will be facing a hot Mariners lineup tonight. We believe he will falter, giving us some great chances to win money on home run props tonight.

Home Run Picks for Friday, October 10
Cal Raleigh Anytime Home Run (+330) at Caesars Sportsbook
Cal Raleigh has been incredible during this ALDS series. He’s batting .438 with a home run and four RBIs. It’s hardly been a surprise for the catcher, who led the league with 60 home runs during an MVP-worthy campaign. While his average takes a dip when at home this season, that hasn’t stopped him from going deep 28 times during the regular season.
Raleigh hasn’t been against Tarik Skubal (13-6, 2.21 ERA, 0.89 WHIP), with just two hits over 11 at-bats. However, one of those hits was a home run.
Betting against Skubal is always a considerable risk, but we are backing the storyline tonight. The Seattle crowd has been one of the best during the playoffs, and Raleigh has been feeding off of it. With a chance to reach the ALCS on the line tonight, we believe the Big Dumper will step up to add yet another incredible chapter to his already great season.

Kerry Carpenter Anytime Home Run (+390) at Caesars Sportsbook
Carpenter was sharp in the ALWC series, but it's 1-17 against the Mariners during the ALCS. That one hit was for a home run, but that isn’t the reason we are backing him tonight.
We love Carpenter’s chances to go deep thanks to his history with Mariners starter George Kirby (10-8, 4.21 ERA, 1.37 WHIP). The 27-year-old missed a chunk of the season with an injury and hasn’t looked the same since. While he delivered a strong start in Game 1, the two runs allowed came off a Kerry Carpenter home run.
Carpenter has faced Kirby 11 times and has owned the edge, posting a .455 average with five home runs. That makes this one of the easiest home run prop bets to place this season.
