MLB Parlay Picks Today: Guardians vs. Tigers (6:40 PM, EST)

Guardians Moneyline (-154) at FanDuel

The Guardians are the shortest favorite on our Monday MLB parlay. Cleveland has been dominant this season, leading the AL Central. The team is 56-32 and has a lot of value in the World Series market on FanDuel Sportsbook. 

Cleveland will have a bullpen game on Monday. Gavin Williams will get the start, and he hasn’t been terrific in his four innings on the mound. He has an 11.25 ERA and a 2.25 WHIP, but shouldn’t be in the game too long. 

Cleveland will face Jack Flaherty, who will start for the Tigers. Flaherty is fantastic and a potential Cy Young winner in the American League. He is 5-5 with a 3.24 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. 

Flaherty has struck out 115 batters in 89 innings. We expect him to have a solid start, but Cleveland doesn’t have to beat the pitcher. They need to survive Flaherty and get to the Tigers bullpen. 

The Guardians have the advantage if this game comes down to the bullpen. We trust Cleveland’s offense much more in this spot, as they have scored 75 more runs this season. They have also hit 14 more home runs this season, so look for power to make a difference in the final result.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: Rockies vs. Reds (7:10 PM, EST)

Reds Moneyline (-190) at FanDuel

The Cincinnati Reds swept the Yankees last week but had a tough series against the Tigers over the weekend. Detroit swept the Reds at the Great American Ballpark, so look for Cincinnati to be hungry for a win on Monday. 

Luckily for the Reds, the Rockies are coming to town, and Colorado has struggled all season. The Rockies are 32-58 and 12-31 on the road this season. They have played much better at home, but they won’t be helped by altitude in Cincinnati. 

Dakota Hudson will pitch for the Rockies; he has been more harmful than helpful. The pitcher is 2-12 with a 5.84 ERA and a 1.64 WHIP. Over 86.1 innings, he has allowed 96 hits and walked 46 batters. 

Walking 46 batters in 86.1 innings is inexcusable, and it has hurt Colorado all season. We expect this to occur on Monday night.

The Atlanta Braves dominated the Phillies on Sunday, winning 6-0. The Braves are gaining steam in the National League East. Philadelphia will be hard to catch, but they should make a push in the second half of the season.

Chris Sale has revitalized his career in Atlanta. He wasn’t pitching up to his capability in Boston, battling injuries over his final few seasons. However, he has dominated with the Braves, posting a 2.71 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP. 

Yilber Diaz will pitch for Atlanta. This will be his MLB debut, and we never advise leaning on a rookie in their first start. This is especially true against an offense like Atlanta.
