The Los Angeles Dodgers started their Guardians series with a win on Monday. I’m backing them on the moneyline as one of the three legs in my Tuesday MLB parlay.

The Texas Rangers are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Blue Jays. Jacob deGrom took the ball for Texas, and pitched great, but the Rangers couldn’t convert offensively. 

Offense has been a significant issue for the Rangers all season. This is why they’re 26-29 on the season, but they have been solid at home with a 17-11 record. 

Texas has another strong starter on the mound in Nathan Eovaldi on Tuesday. Eovaldi is in a spot to win the Cy Young through the first third of the season. 

Eovaldi is 4-3 because of his lackluster run support. Yet, his ERA is 1.6 and he has a 0.79 WHIP. 

It will be shocking if the Rangers don’t score runs on Tuesday. Bowden Francis will take the ball for the Blue Jays, and he is 2-6 with a 5.54 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP. 

He has allowed 55 hits in 50.1 innings with just 40 strikeouts. He has also surrendered 15 homers in this span, so Texas will have chances to score.

White Sox vs. Mets (7:10 PM, EST)

Francisco Lindor had a walkoff sacrifice fly on Monday to lead the Mets to a victory over the White Sox. Chicago is one of the worst teams in baseball, but any walkoff win sparks a team to keep delivering. 

The Mets are more talented than the White Sox in every phase of the game. They have also won three games in a row, including a series victory over the Dodgers. 

Shane Smith has been fantastic for Chicago. He is 1-3 with a 2.36 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP, but the Mets offense has some bats to negate his strong arsenal. 

Between Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso and Juan Soto, I’ll back the Mets. New York also has a significant advantage in the bullpen. 

If the Mets can hand the game over to the bullpen with a lead, they will likely win their fourth straight contest.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have an excellent price at -134 on Tuesday. Dustin May will take the ball for Los Angeles against Tanner Bibee of the Guardians. 

May is 2-4 with a 4.09 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. His numbers have been very similar to Bibee, who is 4-4 with a 3.57 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. 

If the starting pitchers match each other, the edge goes to Los Angeles. The Dodgers are batting 32 points higher than Cleveland and they have scored 85 more runs in 2025. 

Los Angeles has a major talent gap, which showed in their 7-2 victory on Monday.
