The Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic are two teams desperate to climb their conference rankings. Despite Orlando's recent positive run of form, they currently still sit 13th in the Eastern Conference with a 13-21 record. The Los Angeles Lakers, on the other hand, haven't been able to climb out of 13th in the Western Conference.
The Lakers enter this game on a four-game losing streak, owning the league's seventh-ranked scoring offence (115.7 points per game) but also the league's 27th-ranked scoring defence (118.0 points allowed per game). The Magic are in the opposite boat, having won two in a row and ranking 27th in the NBA in scoring offence (110.3 points per game), while also owning a respectable 15th-ranked scoring defence (113.1 points allowed per game).
This projects to be an up-and-down game between two teams who aren't exactly the most reliable when it comes to two-way play. The home court certainly gives Orlando the advantage, but it's their length on the defensive end that should give them the edge.

The Atlanta Hawks and the Indiana Pacers are neck-and-neck in the Eastern Conference, with both teams eyeing the other to make progress in the Eastern Conference. The Atlanta Hawks are seventh in the East with a 17-16 record. The Indiana Pacers are just behind them, 17-17 in the Eastern Conference - just a half-game back from the Hawks.
Playing at a 100.8 pace (8th in the NBA), the Atlanta Hawks are third in field goal attempts per game (92.3) and first in two-point field goal attempts per game (61.2). However the Hawks' scoring efficiency - 46.7% from the field (17th in the NBA), 33.2% from three (27th in the NBA) - hasn't been particularly impressive. The Pacers will try to counter them with their excellent three-point shooting, 14.9 threes per game (9th in the NBA) on 37.0% efficiency (9th in the NBA), and interior defense - 52.9% two-point field goal percentage allowed (9th in the NBA).
Atlanta are looking healthy for when they enter this game, but Indiana will be looking to bounce back from their loss on Monday night. Unfortunately on the second leg of a back-to-back and against a focused Atlanta Hawks team, expect the Pacers to drop this game.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns face off in what will be a heated Western Conference matchup. The Suns have now lost three games in a row, now sitting fifth in the Western Conference with a 19-15 record. The Grizzlies are coming off of a loss themselves, now ranked third in the Western Conference with a 20-12 record.
Phoenix will pit their eighth-ranked scoring offence (115.5 points per game) and 10th-ranked scoring defence (111.6 points allowed per game) without Devin Booker and Cameron Johnson in the lineup. Memphis are going to be motivated after their most recent game, a loss against the Golden State Warriors. Allowing just 111.3 points per game (9th in the NBA) on 44.7% shooting efficiency allowed (1st in the NBA), the Grizzlies hope to return to their top-tier defensive form.
The Suns' project to put up a fight, they have that much quality on their team. But the Grizzlies aren't disadvantaged by injury, and their pace and defence should help them win the day - especially on their home court.
