Our Picks:

C. Paul Points Over 20.5 (-115)

You can bet that in his first NBA Finals appearance ever Chris Paul will put in his best effort. Since returning to the lineup Paul has taken a more prominent role as a scorer for the Suns, opening up the court for others. He’s shown success against the Bucks as well, averaging 25 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds in two regular-season meetings.

He’s cleared 20.5 in five of his last eight games, averaging 24.8 points through that stretch. Clearing 20.5 should be a given.

J. Crowder Three-Pointers Over 2.5 (-105)

Jae Crowder is crucial to the Phoenix Suns’ success. Not only is he a tenacious defensive player, but his three-point shooting opens up the court for the Suns’ entire roster. Averaging 2.4 threes per game through the 2021 Playoffs, choosing here is tight.

We’re giving Crowder the nod to clear 2.5, considering he is coming off of a 5 of 9 shooting game from three while also needing to be the outlet against Milwaukee’s tough defence.

D. Ayton PTS + REBS Over 26.5 (-110)

Ayton has been the understated hero for the Phoenix Suns through their first three rounds of the NBA Playoffs. Through the season, Ayton averaged a combined 28.5 in two games against the Bucks, while averaging an exact 28.0 through the 2021 NBA Playoffs.

Considering Milwaukee’s weakened defence and Chris Paul’s mastery of the pick-and-roll, Ayton should feast on supposedly inferior bigs like Portis and Lopez. We see Ayton clearing 26.5.

D. Booker Assists Over 4.5 (+105)

It’s a day of overs as we’re looking at Devin Booker to clear 4.5 assists for the Phoenix Suns. He’s averaging just 4.8 assists through the playoffs but is averaging nine assists per game in Game 1 of every series so far.

Paul is still the main playmaker, but when the series kicks off Booker is aware of how the defence will guard him. We’re predicting Booker clears 4.5 assists at +105.
