Our Picks:
With the pressure on, Paul George has stepped up his performances. He is averaging 30.2 points per game through this series, but is coming off of a 41 points performance. He’s not been bothered by the Suns defenders, and only needs to overcome his own shooting efficiency.
While averaging less per game through this series, we expect George to clear 30.5 in an elimination game.
Devin Booker has faded throughout the series, but he bounced back in Game 5 against the Clippers. After scoring 31 points in Game 5, Booker brought his series scoring average up to 26.2 points per game.
With how the Suns struggled to score late, Booker is certain to become more of a factor on offense. We see him clearing 27.5 in a crucial game.
It’s tough to rate Chris Paul because he’s only played three games in this series. In their most recent outing, the Clippers have been more interested in letting Paul score the ball in order to limit their role players from converting.
Paul is averaging nine assists per game in this series, buoyed by a 12 assist performance in Game 3. Based on how the Clippers have guarded him, we don’t see Paul clearing 8.5 assists.
DeAndre Ayton has been rebounding at a fantastic rate through this series against the LA Clippers. While the Clippers have tried to go small to counteract his interior presence with pace, Ayton is still averaging 13.0 rebounds per game.
Ayton hasn’t cleared 11.5 in three of his five games against Clippers, but against the new, smaller lineup of the Clippers, he should take advantage.
