Best NBA Prop Bets Today

With the NBA packing 14 games into its Friday night schedule, we're taking a look at three superstar guards when the evening kicks off!

When the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown's contributions on the glass will be the focus rather than his scoring. As the Cleveland Cavaliers look to get their first win against the Toronto Raptors this season, Donovan Mitchell looks to take advantage of Toronto's poor three-point defense. And in an exciting matchup, DeMar DeRozan's playmaking will be the focus for the Chicago Bulls' chances at taking down the New York Knicks.

Let's check out the bets!

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Boston Celtics: Best Prop Bets

Jaylen Brown Rebounds O 6.5 (+100) @ FanDuel

Jaylen Brown is known for his athleticism and scoring ability, but his presence on the glass will be the focus in this matchup. At FanDuel, Brown is a +100 to clear 6.5 rebounds when he takes on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On the season, Brown is averaging 26.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 49.0% from the field and 33.5% from three-point range. He's been solid on the glass over his last five games though, averaging 9.4 rebounds per game and collecting double-digit boards in three of those five appearances.

Expectations on Brown's rebounding ability are likely based on the paint presence of the Minnesota Timberwolves, but that isn't likely to be a big factor. More than willing to get on the defensive glass and push the break, Brown should still clear 6.5 with ease against Minnesota.

Toronto Raptors @ Cleveland Cavaliers: Best Prop Bets

Donovan Mitchell Three-Pointers O 3.5 (+112) @ Caesars Sportsbook

Donovan Mitchell is having a tremendous season in his first year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. At Caesars Sportsbook, Mitchell is a +112 to clear 3.5 three-point field goals when he faces the Toronto Raptors.

On the season, Mitchell is averaging 29.5 points, 4.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.9 threes on 50.3% efficiency from the field and 42.8% efficiency from three-point range. He's been excellent over his last five games as well, averaging 31.8 points and 4.4 threes on 54.1% from the field and 46.8% from three-point range.

This matchup against the Raptors should benefit Donovan Mitchell's three-point game. Over their last seven games, the Raptors are allowing their opponents to shoot 39.8% from three on 13.4 makes per game. Being so long and athletic the Raptors are sure to give Cleveland problems overall, but defending the three-ball isn't where their strength lies.

Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks: Best Prop Bets

DeMar DeRozan Assists O 4.5 (+100) @ PointsBet

DeMar DeRozan continues to be a consistent leader for the Chicago Bulls, despite his team's struggles this season. At PointsBet, DeRozan is a +100 to clear 4.5 assists when he faces the New York Knicks.

On the season, DeRozan is averaging 25.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists on 50.8% shooting from the field and 29.5% shooting from three-point range. He's on a positive run of form through his last three games though, averaging 27.0 points 5.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on 55.4% shooting from the field and 33.3% from three-point range.

It's fair to be wary of DeRozan when he takes on the Knicks as he posted just six assists through two games against New York already this season. However coming off of back-to-back wins where he's dominated offensively, expect DeRozan's form to carry over against a team he's been historically successful against.
