Coming off of a 126-117 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, the Boston Celtics look to be in full control of their scoring potential. Miami are a strong defensive team but struggled in their first outing with the Bulls.
Both teams have some of the league's best scorers. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum for Boston, and DeMar DeRozan for Chicago. Both defenses have dropped since the summer, but it is something natural to do.
Boston are will-drilled, organized, and full of desire. The Bulls have a lot to give in the scoring department, but their defensive standards aren't enough.
Jerami Grant is coming off of a great opening season game where he posted 23 points and 8 rebounds on 45.5 shooting from the field. He's done a great job in tandem with Lillard, who seemed to be concentrating on getting his teammates good looks.
Grant is a finisher but has been subdued in his career against the Suns. Through 20 games against the Suns, Grant has averaged just 11.0 points and 4.6 rebounds.
The difference maker for Grant is Lillard, whose attention creates excellent opportunities for him. If he can maintain his offensive focus with Lillard on the court, there's no reason he can't be a regular 20-point-per-game scorer.
