WSN is the place to get the best NBA player props and betting picks every day throughout the 2023-24 NBA season.

The Denver Nuggets took down the Boston Celtics for the second time this season behind a Nikola Jokic masterclass, while Anthony Edwards’ heroics saved a win for the Minnesota Timberwolves against the Indiana Pacers.

Here are our favorite NBA player prop picks for Friday.

Best NBA Prop Bets Today March 8 2024

Kyle Kuzma Under 22.5 Points (-118) at FanDuel

Kuzma averages 22.3 points per game and beat this line in three straight games, just recently going for 25 against the Orlando Magic. So why are we betting on the Washington Wizards’ primary option to go under his scoring total against a Charlotte Hornets team that is one of the worst in the league?

Quiet as kept, the Hornets allowed the seventh-fewest points per 100 possessions over their last 10 games. They have long wings with Brandon Miller and Miles Bridgers and start Grant Williams at center, which gives them another versatile defender capable of switching onto Kuzma and making his life difficult.

Wendell Carter Jr. Over 10.5 Points (-111) at FanDuel

Carter did not play in his team’s last game but went over in back-to-back contests and in five of his last seven games. He scored nine against the New York Knicks in February but also scored 17 in just 19 minutes when the two played back in January, and he averaged 30 minutes through two games to start the month.

The Knicks are a dangerous team when fully healthy, but the reality is that they aren’t scaring anybody right now. They ranked 25th in defensive efficiency over their last 15 games and are depleted on the interior with Mitchell Robinson, Julius Randle, and OG Anunoby all out, and they just allowed the frontline combination of Jalen Johnson and Clint Capela to combine for 39 points on Tuesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo 35+ Points (+165) at FanDuel

Giannis is dealing with Achilles tendonitis in his left leg and could miss this game, but if he suits up, he’s a great bet for a strong night. He only scored 23 points in a blowout loss against the Golden State Warriors his last time out but managed 46 points and 16 rebounds against the Chicago Bulls the game before. Plus, he’ll be motivated to perform to drown out the sorrow of the lopsided loss.

Giannis was a beast every time he faced the Los Angeles Lakers in recent years, topping 35 points in four straight games (and averaging 42.3). The Lakers also allowed the fifth-most points per 100 possessions over their last 15 games and have no real interior defense aside from Anthony Davis, and even he can’t overcome their overall deficiencies.

Duncan Robinson Over 3.5 Assists (-104) at FanDuel

The Miami Heat are 10-1 when Robinson has at least five assists, which shows an obvious relationship between the 29-year-old’s improved passing and the team’s success. He only had two assists against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday but went over in each of the two games prior and had a career-high 11 dimes against the Sacramento Kings a week and a half ago.

The Heat are playing the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have a great defense but like to play at a quick tempo and are undersized. If Robinson can get to work as a playmaker and find either Bam Adebayo or Jimmy Butler out of the pick-and-roll, he should have a decent chance to go over this line.

Santi Aldama Under 6.5 Rebounds (-138) at FanDuel

Aldama averages 5.6 rebounds and went under this total in each of his last two games. Although he also went over in the two just before that, he hit the under in 12 of his last 14 games, which sets a clear precedent for him heading into the Memphis Grizzlies’ matchup with the Atlanta Hawks.

Although the Hawks haven’t necessarily been an amazing team on the boards overall, they’re in the top half of NBA teams over the last 10 games and have a couple of players in Capela and Johnson that are excellent at ending possessions in one shot. Aldama prefers to hang out around the three-point line and probably won’t be a huge rebounding threat.
