WSN is the place to get the best NBA player props and betting picks every day throughout the 2023-24 NBA season.
While March Madness stole the headlines, some of the NBA’s best were in action on Wednesday. The Boston Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks to continue yet another winning streak, while the Miami Heat held off the Cleveland Cavaliers’ late surge to win on the road.
Here are our favorite NBA player prop picks for Thursday.

Sabonis has quietly become a stat machine and is an under-the-radar MVP candidate. He only averaged 7.6 assists per game in March, but he dished out 10 helpers in 28 minutes against the Toronto Raptors last night and should have a favorable matchup against the Washington Wizards.
The Wiz rank 28th in opponents’ assists since the All-Star break and also allow the most points per 100 possessions during that time. Even though it is the second night of a back-to-back, the Kings’ important players didn’t have to play many minutes on Wednesday and should be fresh enough to help their teammate deliver on his assists total.

Amen scored a career-high 25 points on 10-12 shooting against (guess who) the Wizards on Tuesday. He now scored 18+ points in three straight games and cashed the over on this total in four of his last six games, which makes him an interesting prospect ahead of an evening clash with the Chicago Bulls.
Amen has more of an opportunity to get his hands on the ball without Alperen Sengun in the lineup, especially since he is playing well as of late. Although the Bulls have a solid defense, they aren’t great at packing the paint and will also have to send their best defenders of Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet.

Markkanen sat out of the Utah Jazz’s Wednesday loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder as he carefully returns from a quad injury. He last played on Monday and recorded 22 points and 12 rebounds against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which was a great sign against the league’s best defense.
The Finnisher averages 8.3 rebounds and showed no ill effects in his return to action at the start of the week. The Dallas Mavericks are hit-or-miss and have shown signs of improvement on the boards since the All-Star break, but this line is too low to bet the under.

Porter Jr. took a leap as a rebounder during the playoffs last year and hasn’t looked back, averaging 7.0 for the year and hitting the over in four of his last five outings. He only managed four in the Denver Nuggets’ matchup with the Timberwolves on Tuesday, but he’s been consistent in getting to 7+ as of late.
The New York Knicks are normally a great rebounding team but also aren’t shooting a high percentage from the field, They’re also still dealing with several important injuries, which means that there could be enough loose balls for the 6-foot-10 Porter Jr. to grab and get over his line.

Durant is still one of the best scorers in the league and ranks fourth in average (27.7) for the year. At the same time, he’s not been effective for the last week or so, averaging a lowly 16.5 points over his last four games while shooting 27.8% from beyond the arc.
It can be a dangerous game betting the under on Durant points, but he’s getting a decently tough matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. Atlanta holds opponents to the 11th-fewest points per game since the All-Star break and has several tall, long defenders they can switch onto Durant.
