MIA: Maintain the Ball Movement
The Miami Heat aren’t a team that you’d say have that singular killer player that could take down a team on their own. However, they’re well-drilled and disciplined, which is why they were able to keep Game 1 against the Bucks so close.
In their Game 1 loss, the Miami Heat shot just 36.4% from the field. However, they assisted on 61.1% of their field goals, accumulating 22 assists on 36 field goals.
It’s no secret that the Heat need to be able to score more to beat the Bucks, but they have to do it efficiently. Hitting 20 three-pointers is great, but on 50 three-point attempts, it seems counterintuitive.
Heat Key Player: (F) Duncan Robinson

The Miami Heat struggled to score in their first game, but they found a welcome contributor in Duncan Robinson. The third-year man was the top-scoring starter for the Heat, due to his tremendous shooting.
Robinson posted 24 points on seven of 13 shooting from the field. All of his attempts and makes came from the three-point range.
Against Milwaukee’s tough defense, the Heat will always be looking for an outlet. Head coach Erik Spoelstra will be relying on Robinson to continue to find his opportunities.
MIL: Get Your Perimeter Game Going
The Milwaukee Bucks will have the interior advantage against most teams in the NBA. However, in Game 1 against the Miami Heat, the Bucks struggled due to their poor shooting.
Despite being the fifth-best three-point shooting team in the NBA, Milwaukee converted on only five of their 31 three-point field goal attempts. While Antetokounmpo is difficult to match in the paint, the likes of Holiday, Tucker, and Forbes need to provide more on the offensive end.
As the Heat continues to blitz Giannis Antetokounmpo, his teammates need to reward his playmaking.
Bucks Key Player: (F) Khris Middleton

Robin to Antetokounmpo’s Batman, Khris Middleton rarely gets the spotlight. However, he showed how crucial he is in Game 1 of the Bucks’ series against the Heat.
Middleton posted 27 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 44 minutes of play. Did we mention that Middleton had the game-winning shot as well?
Middleton will be relied on more than ever, as the Heat will surely double down on closing in on Antetokounmpo after Milwaukee’s poor shooting night.
