Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers Predictions and Picks

Our Pick
The Bucks have blown out the Pacers in their previous two meetings. Indiana can’t handle the Bucks’ diverse attack and don’t have the three-point shooting to keep pace.

MIL: Win the Battle on the Glass

With the playoffs in sight, the Milwaukee Bucks are sure to lengthen their rotations to save their health for the post-season. But regardless of who is on the floor, the Bucks need to manage the Pacers inside.

The Bucks have size in Antetokounmpo and Lopez, but the Pacers do as well in Brissett and Sabonis. In two meetings with the Pacers, Milwaukee has outrebounded them by an average of 11.

Securing the interior is Milwaukee’s best opportunity to shut down the Pacers on both ends.

Bucks Key Player: (G) Jrue Holiday

While Bucks guard Jrue Holiday wasn’t brought in to be a game-changing scorer for the Bucks, he certainly has the ability to produce on that end.

In his last game, Holiday put up 15 points on five of 15 shooting from the field. He’ll always contribute on the defensive side though, collecting two steals.

Holiday needs to be an option as teams start to focus more on Antetokounmpo. With two great interior presences on Indiana, Holiday needs to be clinical in his opportunities from range.

IND: Close Out, Play Tough!

The Pacers were in a bit of a freefall, but have come together as of late and came away with a victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

While they’re not rife with stars, their collective defensive effort can be suffocating. In their last match against the Sixers, Indiana outrebounded their opponents by ten and held them to just 30.8% shooting from three.

The effort is there for Indiana, it’ll be a question of how well they can limit Milwaukee’s shooters.

Pacers Key Player: (G) Caris LeVert

When you think of the Indiana Pacers, you probably don’t think of them as a deadly perimeter attacking team. However, Caris LeVert has shown he’s more than capable of filling up the score sheet.

In his last game against the Sixers, LeVert posted 24 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in almost 40 minutes of play.

Finding offense will be a top priority for the Pacers in this game. Caris LeVert is probably their most capable option in that regard.
