The Hawks enter this game on a three-game win streak. However, with the advantage of three days off versus Atlanta being on a back-to-back, the Sixers' interior presence should make the difference in this game.

The Philadelphia 76ers come into this game off the back of an impressive victory over the Phoenix Suns. While they were given the advantage due to a Suns injury, the Sixers were relentless in their pursuit of victory. To defeat a hot shooting Hawks team, the Sixers need to win the battle on the glass.
In their win over the Phoenix Suns, the Philadelphia 76ers outrebounded their opponents 48 to 37. More importantly, the Sixers were dominant on the offensive glass, collecting 15 offensive rebounds to Phoenix's 6.
Outside of Clint Capela, the Atlanta Hawks aren't one of the bigger teams in the NBA. Last in the league in offensive rebounds allowed, the Hawks project to give the Sixers plenty of opportunities.
The Philadelphia 76ers are a team that needs to manage the health of their star players. Off the back of a three-day rest, expect Joel Embiid to put in a strong performance. Based on his last game, Embiid should be in good form.
In his last game, a win over the Phoenix Suns, Joel Embiid posted 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in 36 minutes of play. He wasn't particularly efficient from the field, shooting 8 of 21 overall, but he more than made up for it by going 16 of 16 from the free-throw line.
Embiid will be matched up against Hawks big man Clint Capela in this meeting, though it isn't a matchup he should be disadvantaged by. While he has the ability to get to the line, being more efficient from the field will help Philly in their attempt to keep up with the hot-shooting Hawks.
The Atlanta Hawks are coming off of a disappointing loss in their last game. Entering their game against the Utah Jazz on a three-game win streak, they lost the core of their play and were not able to overcome the Western Conference leaders.
Usually a strong defensive team, the Atlanta Hawks allow their teams just 32.6% efficiency from three and 45.1% from the field overall. However, their defense wasn't engaged against the Jazz, as the Hawks allowed their opponents to shoot 46.8% from the field and 43.6% from three.
Against a team that lives by their three-point shot, the Philadelphia 76ers have to be taken seriously from range. Having allowed 17 threes in their last game, the Hawks defense needs to tighten up if they hope to win.
The Atlanta Hawks faltered late in their game, with their perimeter play struggling to keep up with their opponents. When they take on the Sixers, Atlanta needs to have a presence in the paint. That's where Clint Capela comes in.
Not technically skilled but full of energy and enthusiasm, Clint Capela will be matched up with Joel Embiid in this game. In his last match, Capela posted 15 points, 19 rebounds, and 2 blocks on 7 of 13 shooting from the field.
Holding Joel Embiid down isn't realistic, but if Capela can give him some trouble on both ends of the court it'll open up the court for his teammates. One thing you shouldn't doubt with Capela is his effort, and given his ability he's sure to show up on the glass.
