Week 1 of the NFL Preseason follows the Hall of Fame game between the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns. The slate kicks off with two games on Thursday, six on Friday, and the rest over the weekend.
Below, we’ll explore the best three prop bets for this slate across the best online betting sites in the United States.
Headed into this game, the Jaguars are four-point favorites against the Dallas Cowboys, likely due to the number of impactful rookies we can expect from the Jaguars.
Jaguars starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence is unlikely to play at all, but the team will turn to C.J. Beathard and Nathan Rourke but should see offensive tackle Anton Harrison and running back Tank Bigsby see some run. There are some notable rookies on the Cowboys side, too, with wide receiver Jalen Brooks.
The Cowboys will have Cooper Rush and Will Grier likely available here. We’re siding with the Jaguars quarterback room, and Bigsby is getting some run.

The Bills are unlikely to send starting quarterback Josh Allen out for much of this preseason. At the same time, the Colts have a No. 4 overall draft pick in Anthony Richardson, who’s not yet confirmed as the Week 1 starter.
Thus, we’re looking at Kyle Allen/Matt Barkley on the Bills against a trio of Richardson/Gardner Minshew/Sam Ehlinger players.
The Colts will also likely let wide receiver Josh Downs get some run, and we could see the Bills throw out tight end Dalton Kincaid.
Look for the Colts to win here as we get our first look at Richardson.

The Raiders quarterback room will be a massive hindrance in this game as it’s hard to get excited about Brian Hoyer, Chase Garbers, a training camp struggling Jimmy Garoppolo, and Aidan O’Connell.
O’Connell is the most appealing of this group coming out of Purdue, but the rest of the roster is also lacking. We could see edge rusher Tyree Wilson, but this roster, even the starters, is far from exciting. Hence, the second, third, and fourth stringers are even less desirable.
Look for this team to struggle in the preseason.
