The GC was added to my balance automatically. I also didn’t see a way to opt out of the promo. Then again, who’d complain about mandatorily receiving loads of GC to play free games with?

Fortune Wheelz does lose some points, however, for not including Fortune Coins (the sites version of sweepstakes coins) as part of the welcome bonus, which sites like Chumba Casino and McLuck do.

I didn’t have to enter any sort of bonus code to claim Fortune Wheelz’ GC welcome package. It was credited to my account immediately, and I wasn’t able to not claim the bonus. There’s also no bonus code required to spin the Wheel of Fortune. 

Wheel of Fortune 

It was hard for me to miss the gigantic Wheel of Fortune pop-up in the middle of my screen. It exclaims, “Rewards TWICE a day! Boost your game with free coins.” The prizes on offer include both Gold Coins and Fortune Coins, plus a combination of the two. This is where the second part of their no-deposit bonus comes from. You could win up to 500 SC, but there are other rewards here as well.

I wanted to see if I’d win anything, so I clicked “Get it Now.” This brought me to a new screen with the Wheel of Fortune where I had to verify my phone number before I could try it. Finally, I crossed my fingers and clicked “Spin & Win”. After a brief moment of watching the wheel spin, I was happy to see that I’d won 175,000 Gold Coins - but again, no Fortune Coins. All I had to do at this point was click “Collect” and wait another 12 hours before trying my luck once more. 

The prizes on Wheel of Fortune go from 25,000 GC to 275,000 GC, and when it comes to FC (of which I still have zero), you can get between 100 FC and 500 FC. There are also 5 mix rewards that fall in the same range, with the maximum you can get being 225,000 GC and 500 FC.

Similar to the welcome bonus, it’s a little disappointing not to get some guaranteed free Fortune Coins. I like the concept of the Wheel and the random prizes, which definitely adds to the overall experience, but I was now well into my Fortune Wheelz review and still hadn’t gotten any Fortune Coins.

I have a few friends who also wanted to give Fortune Wheelz a spin, so I made use of their referral bonus to maximize my GC + FC balance. This required me to click on “Refer a Friend” and then “Copy Invite Link.” There’s also an option to give a QR code to your friends. 

There were no restrictions on how I could send my invite link out, so I texted a few of my friends and told them about my latest project. I discovered that they’d have to buy $19.99 worth of Gold Coins before I could claim the bonus. Luckily, I have some really awesome friends, and one of them made the purchase!  

I got 2,000 FCs (finally) and 500,000 GCs for my referral. Once my friend made the transaction, they also got 500 FC and 400,000 GC in addition to the coins they purchased. 

Birthday Discount 

Because I signed up with Fortune Wheelz around the time of my birthday (happy belated to me), I saw a special “birthday offer” that would give me 1.2 million GC and 3,900 free FC for $29.99. 

Fortune Wheelz tacked another 320k GC and 100 FC onto their original $29.99 package deal. I believe this offer lasted until the end of the week. It’s a really fun concept that I haven’t seen before at other sweeps sites!

2nd Special Deal 

Once I’d made my first purchase for $4.99 (which I explained in more detail below), I unlocked the 2nd Special Deal available at Fortune Wheelz. I saw that I could get 25% more GC + FC, which translated to 900,000 GC +3,750 FC. I also saw that I could get 15% more GC + FC if I spent less money. 

It’s another great way that Fortune Wheelz adds value. However, I do have to say that all these promotions are quite confusing, and the constant pop-up advertisements for discounted GC + FC tend to get annoying after a while. 

Fortune Wheelz User Experience 

I sincerely enjoyed the time I spent with Fortune Wheelz, and their user interface makes it clear that this social casino is designed for beginners. One criticism I have is that they don’t have a search bar, which isn’t ideal for those who are looking for a specific game.

On the bright side, there’s absolutely zero learning curve; all I had to do was click and play slots. I evaluated my experience with Fortune Wheelz using my laptop before assessing their website on my smartphone. I instantly fell in love with their black-and-green color scheme. 

The sidebar on the left doesn’t go anywhere, giving you access to all the important sections of their website at a glance. Next up, I decided to see how their desktop and mobile sites compare.

On mobile, the sidebar has moved to the bottom of the screen, and I was able to pull up the remainder of their menu options by clicking on the “Menu” button at the bottom-left corner of my screen.

The mobile website works pretty well, but I would like to see them develop a Fortune Wheelz mobile app for iOS & Android devices.

Looking to the bottom of my screen, I noticed several self-explanatory icons linking to Fortune Wheelz’ Instagram, Twitter (X), and Facebook. Their contact form and Terms of Use were also nestled down by the bottom menu bar. However, I couldn’t find a “Responsible Gaming” page.

Even without a mobile app or a proper search bar, Fortune Wheelz offers beginners a perfect introductory experience. Their interface couldn’t be easier to navigate on desktop and mobile. 

Fortune Wheelz Games

Fortune Wheelz continues their beginner-friendly gaming experience with slots, slots and more slots. They host 101+ unique slots exclusively from Netgame, but they don’t offer any skill-based games or table games at the moment. 

Even though I had loads of fun browsing their slot library, I have to deduct a significant number of points due to the lack of other types of games, which are relatively commonplace at other top sweepstakes casinos. 

Slot Games 

Fortune Wheelz might have a rather one-dimensional gaming library, but they carry out the main focus with precision here. I counted 101 slots and 39 jackpot slots at the time of my review. If my estimation is correct, the casino adds two or three new games to their collection every week. 

Fortune Wheelz works exclusively with the software provider Netgame to host the entirety of their library, which is a good and bad thing. I didn’t find any recycled slot machines from other social casinos, ensuring a uniquely authentic gaming experience for everyone. That said, I personally prefer having the option of playing familiar classics, and I would like to see them add games from the likes of Pragmatic Play or NetEnt. 

I started off by checking out their “Must Try” slot machines. Merry Cash Splash and Red Hot Chili 7’s were two of my favorite slots here, but there’s a lot to explore. I liked the realistic spin mechanics, eye-catching animations, and pristine graphics, all of which felt like a little slice of Vegas on my computer. 

Additionally, I enjoyed quick loading speeds and zero lag while switching between slot games. I also wanted to test out the games on mobile. Since there is no app, I had to access Fortune Wheelz’ actual website using my relatively advanced iPhone 13. 

I’m not sure how it operates on older smartphones, but I didn’t have any issues from my end. I saw that all their slots were sized appropriately for my device. However, developing a true app would obviously be a positive step. I also messed around with Fortune Wheelz’ categories and filters on my phone, which worked well. 

Notably, they don’t have a search bar, which meant I couldn’t find games by their specific title. However, due to their limited number of games, I found their top menu banner sufficient. I was able to sort by recency, popularity and progressive potential. 

I also favorited two slot games for easy access by clicking the heart at the top-right corner of each game - a nice feature. 

At this point, I also found three light-hearted fishing games using the top menu banner. Ice & Fire Fishing, Fishing Kingdom Remastered, and Thunder Fishing offer a nice change of pace from spinning through slots with epic, arcade-style action. Check out Ice & Fire Fishing below: 

In summary, Fortune Wheelz is built for newbies who enjoy casual, low-pressure entertainment. 

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the constant popups congratulating me on my win and asking me if I wanted to switch to Fortune Coins mode of play. In 5 minutes of playing, I got asked twice to switch and each time it would reset my full screen mode.

Table Games 

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find any classic tabletop games at Fortune Wheelz. This includes blackjack, video poker, baccarat, roulette, craps, and all the others. This isn’t a great look for the casino; they could really make their brand much more competitive if they added table games.

Live Dealer 

In addition to not hosting any tabletop games, Fortune Wheelz lacks a live dealer section at the moment. I haven’t heard any talk of them going out of their way to change this, so they’re obviously not the best choice for seasoned players who prioritize a realistic experience. I’d recommend Stake.us or High 5 Casino for those games.

Fortune Wheelz Payments 

Before I dive into this section, I should reiterate that there’s no purchase required to play games with Fortune Wheelz. I received 250,000 GC immediately after creating a new account, and my 175k GC win on the daily Wheel carried me through the rest of the week in GC mode with room to spare. 

Because you’re not using real money to play games (and their bonuses are pretty consistent), there’s never any sort of obligation to spend your hard-earned cash on Gold Coins. That said, you can purchase GC packages to top off your balance. Plus, every purchase comes with some free FC.

Nonetheless, I wanted to explore the process of purchasing Gold Coins at Fortune Wheelz. To start, I clicked the “Buy” button near the top-right corner of my screen. At this point, I saw a pop up explaining that I’d get 33% more GC and FC than usual by spending $29.99.

Still, I’m not made of money, so I went with the smallest package there: I purchased 50,000 GC and got 500 free FC for $4.99. 

After confirming that I wanted to make the purchase, I was prompted to select a payment option and insert my credit card details. Once I’d filled out my card number, expiration date, CVV code, full name, billing address and postal code, I clicked the “Pay” button to purchase my Gold Coins. 

It’s important to note that you can’t buy Fortune Coins, since they’re the premium currency here. However, Fortune Wheelz is kind enough to throw in free FC with every purchase of Gold Coins. 

Towards the bottom of my screen, I saw that I could buy a maximum of 2 million GC and claim a maximum of 20,000 free Fortune Coins for $199.99. Still, it's more economical to spend $29.99 on 1.2 million GC and 3,900 free Fortune Coins, which seemed to be the best deal here. They often have great promos on deck.

Something I like about Fortune Wheelz is that they don’t restrict live chat access to players who didn't purchase Gold Coins. Everyone can access all their customer support options without paying for anything. This is a great reminder that it’s always free to enjoy casino games at Fortune Wheelz. 

Fortune Wheelz Payment Methods Comparison 

In the table below, I compared Fortune Wheelz’ available payment options with the deposit and withdrawal methods accepted by four popular social casinos. I stacked Fortune Wheelz against High 5 Casino, Stake.us, Fortune Coins, and Luckyland Slots. 

Fortune Wheelz Customer Support 

Competent customer support is the backbone of any successful social casino and I wanted to see all the service options Fortune Wheelz had on deck. In addition to noticing a “Support” tab in the leftmost sidebar, I saw that everything was neatly organized at the bottom of my screen. 

As is the standard for every social casino we review, I tested each method and took note of how long I waited for a response from a real person. Firstly, I decided to click the little message icon near the bottom-right corner of my screen. This pulled up the live chat box, which is open 24/7.

I was curious about how “Winnings” transcribed into prize value, so I opened live chat and was first greeted with Fortune Wheelz Bot. At first, I was worried that the live chat is "automated," but luckily it was there only to ask you about the topic of your question or you could ask to speak with agent right away. I asked to be connected to an agent and within 30 seconds, a friendly representative named Chris got back to me. I was impressed by both the speed and professionalism of his responses. 

Next up, I used Fortune Wheelz’ contact form to deliver feedback about my helpful conversation with Chris. This required me to select a feedback subject using the drop-down menu, to which I chose Other. However, you can also inquire about games, free play, prize redemption and more.

After coming up with a short message, I clicked the “Send Message” button and noticed a return email from their team just 6 hours later. Upon clicking the “Online Support” tab, it simply brought up the live chat box again. Now, I wanted to send a direct email to [email protected]. 

I chose to ask about whether they’d be adding table or live dealer games in the near future. I got a response from a representative named Amanda 12 hours after I’d sent the message, and she kindly clarified that she didn’t have any secure information on the matter. That’s a bummer. 

Finally, I noticed three links to Fortune Wheelz’ Instagram, Twitter (X), and Facebook accounts. 

I sent a message to their team using each site and I got an Instagram reply in just 2 minutes. Their Twitter reps replied one minute later, and I got a Facebook reply five minutes after that. 

Overall, I was very impressed with Fortune Wheelz’ dedication to fast and professional replies. The one change I’d suggest is adding phone support, like at Jackpota and Chumba Casino. 

Where is Fortune Wheelz Legal? 

Fortune Wheelz is legal in 46 US states, but they don’t accept players from the following locations:

I didn’t find it difficult to sign up and get started with Fortune Wheelz. In fact, the entire process took me less than a minute. I’ve personally tested and completed the registration process with more than a dozen social casinos, and Fortune Wheelz was among the easiest I’ve tried so far.

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to get started with Fortune Wheelz. I’m not a tech whiz myself, but I didn’t have any issues with their registration process. It’s very beginner-friendly. 

Obtaining Coins at Fortune Wheelz

I found it easy to obtain Gold Coins at Fortune Wheelz, Fortune coins are a different matter entirely. Even though I got 250,000 GC immediately after signing up with the platform, I didn’t get so lucky after that 175,000 GC win on their daily prize Wheel. Still, I got to spin it twice a day, so who am I to complain? In the end, the first time I got my hands on Fortune Coins was after getting referral reward, followed by purchasing some Gold Coins and receiving them as a free bonus. 

Although you can exchange Winnings for tangible prizes, Fortune Wheelz doesn’t use real money for wagering. Instead, you can play all the games at Fortune Wheelz for free using Gold Coins or Fortune Coins. GC are practically given left and right with their generous no-deposit bonus and promos, but they can’t be exchanged for any kind of prize. In other words, there’s no need to make a purchase to play. 

If you want to play with a currency that can be exchanged for something tangible, you’ll have to switch the toggle from “GC Mode” to “FC Mode.” This allows you to spin through slots using Fortune Coins. Should you manage to win more FC, you can exchange them for cash. Fortune Coins that you win as you play games in FC Mode or Winnings are simply a way to describe the Coins you can redeem for real prizes. I unlocked the ability to play games for real prizes with my referral reward and first purchase of Gold Coins. If you’d rather play for fun, it’s best to stay in “Gold Coins” mode and take advantage of their bonuses.

I was not surprised to find that I couldn’t redeem any of the Fortune Coins I’d gotten for free with my first purchase. As I continued playing in FC Mode, I saw that my pile of Fortune Coins was being stored in a separate Winnings tab for me to redeem later. 

It didn’t take long before I was able to claim a prize. The minimum redemption allowed here is 25 winnings. Winnings are simply Fortune Coins that you’ve won playing a game in FC Mode. Because 1 Winning equals $1 at Fortune Wheelz, I was able to redeem 25 Winnings for a gift card worth $25. To redeem straight to your bank account, you'll have to collect 50 Winnings, and on your Visa card or PayPal account, you'll need 100 Winnings.

This is far superior to other social casinos like Chumba Casino and Scrooge, both of which have their minimum redemption limits set to $50 and $100 in theoretical monetary value, respectively. 

All I had to do was click on the “Redeem” button and choose how I wanted to receive my prize. I saw that I could opt for a gift card, VISA transfer, PayPal transfer, or bank transfer. I chose a gift card because I expected it to take the least amount of time before reaching my account. 

Visa, PayPal and bank transfers can take up to 5 business days to reflect in your bank balance. However, I had my virtual gift card sent to me via email in 4 hours.
